Aww, I’m sitting at my desk almost in tears that Tommy will be reunited with his people for Christmas. Can’t wait to see the rest. What a sweet, sweet story.
I was so taken by the happy Elvis in the last panel that I almost missed the baby reaching for the phone. What I love most about your cartoons are the details that are so TRUE. Love it.
Elvis’s huge Bunny Foots in Panel 5 are perfect, as is the walking in snow while trying to not touch it and the fastidious shaking of paws, with the accompanying expression. I also love the baby harness that The Man is wearing. The Olbermann-like trashing of the desk at the beginning was classic too. I hope there’s no plot twist! Sending it on… Also, a friend pointed out some official BCN merchandise that’s available? Yay all around!
The holidays are always so stressful, but this story has been a joy to read. A wonderful escape from malls, in laws, and evil scotch tape. Thank you for this delightful tale.
I love the sense of movement you get with just a couple of lines! The way Elvis reacts to dropping the paper, swiping at it and wriggling to get down for it, while The Baby helpfully tries to draw the attention of the oblivious adults. ..brilliant xx
Elvis and the humans to the rescue!
Happiness!
Sca-weeeeeeee! Yay Elvis! Hero kitty!
Huzzah for Elivs and Tommy! I’ve been reading for a while and look forward to each new strip. Keep up the great work!
Yes!!!! It must be the rain, my eyes are wet.
yay go save Tommy!
I’ll get the champagne π
SQUEE!!!!!! *fist pumps and happy dances* YEAH! YEAH! Elvis rocks! I’m SO HAPPY!!! YAY TOMMY! Ahem.. I mean.. another great broadcast, BCN. π
Go Elvis! Tommy needs a home for Christmas so someone can tell him he’s a good boy again <3
I love the fangs sticking out over the poster when Elvis has it in his mouth! Proud/happy Elvis in the last panel is pretty adorable too π
Elvis really is a good boy
Elvis is a good boy, but his monkey servants are good, too–look how quickly they responded to the poster Elvis brought home.
Yay!!!!! I have been waiting all morning but it was perfect timing to read this while eating lunch! (Pacific time)
The first panel with Lupin throwing the papers is classic! Now I have to go back for my 2nd/3rd/4th reading to catch all the little extras.
Elvis is a Good Boy!
I *love* Elvis’ “ta-daaa” pose in the last frame! I am SO looking forward to the next installment.
Ma’am? Ma’am! MA’AM! Wonderful chapter once again!!!
Elvis is a good boy, and so brave! They’re all good boys!
Merry Christmas everyone!

I also love how the baby is reaching for the phone in the last panel. π Little happy details π
βΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈ
YESSSSS! Go, Elvis, Go!
Love the “Ma’am? Ma’am?” from Puck and Lupin…Now we know what meow translates to…Maybe one day it’ll be “Mom? Mom?”
Maybe the BCN cats can visit Tommy or can have him over for an interview…
Poor Lupin, tossing his desk in frustration. What could Elvis be thinking?

I hope Tommy will still come by sometimes, and Elvis will not puff up and yell at him anymore. Maybe he can be a roving correspondent.
Yes! I’d love Tommy the roving correspondent. He could give the inside scoop on the squirrels taunting our boys from outside the window, etc.
Elvis is a Very Good Boy, indeed. He knew what to do and he went out there and got it done. I want some champagne too!
You’re welcome ……. the party’s at Georgia’s house, by the way …. no I’m joking, lets all head down to the shed instead π
Champagne all around x
The exclamation point over Elvis’s head in panel #5 just slays me, as does his victory wave in the last panel.
It will be a Merry Christmas after all! Your baby is so cute!
Elvis shoots…he scores! The true meaning of Christmas.
I read this and found myself chair-dancing, waving my arms overhead β yay, Elvis! Yay Tommy going home!

Thank you, Sara! Writing and drawing it has been an excellent escape from the same holiday stresses for me, too!
Yes! Tommy is so sweet; I hope he’s rescued!
Hoooo Hooo, that last panel, Elvis is all “touchdown”, yay Elvis
I love the sense of movement you get with just a couple of lines! The way Elvis reacts to dropping the paper, swiping at it and wriggling to get down for it, while The Baby helpfully tries to draw the attention of the oblivious adults. ..brilliant xx
MA’AM! Love Elvis fangs and how this story is developing. Wishing you, the Man, the Baby and the intrepid reporters a very happy Christmas!
My youngest son always wanted to use a telephone or cell phone when he was 1-2 years old. He loved them. Last panel reminds me of that.
