I am not certain to be honest. Readers reported that the Zazzle posters came out printed well (whew!) I had not heard on the paper yet!
I know from my own experience as a ‘Welcome to Night Vale’ fan, that the merchandise on TopatoCo is typically great quality! …I may have squeaked when the fabulous gal at GoComics sent me an email asking if I’d consider putting the poster on TopatoCo. I must admit having BCN merchandise on that site has been a private goal of mine, I would really like to have more on there one day! They have a great reputation for comics/podcast goodies!
thanks for the reply. I have acquired merchandise from TopatoCo, and have been delighted every time.
I support their philosophy, and will probably end up buying another poster or two.
This is officially my favorite strip ever! The slap, Elvis’s face, Tabitha showing respect for a fellow alpha female (in training)…pure gold on this one.
Oh Lordy did I laugh at this one! The looks I got from my mother from across the room…Guess this answers my question about what’ll happen when the Strange New Female meets the Female In Residence!
Lovelovelove Tabitha prepping to pounce on the newcomer, Elvis’s abject horror at what we all KNOW will not be a good situation, Puck springing to the defense, the Robber Mice first judging then alternately ducking for cover or going on the defensive, Bea’s little bottlebrush tail and Tabitha’s expression in reaction to the swat…Elvis better get his Big Brudder cred in GOOD in case Bea persuades the People to let her stay or there’ll be a bit of competition for Alpha in the apartment!
Poofy Beatrix tail! A glimpse of poofy Elvis! The robber mice, en garde! Sophie reading, indifferent to everything, with her non-CN tea mug. As always, so much personality and detail in every frame.
Pretty sure if they were human, Tabitha and Beatrix would be badass roller derby girls together.
Robber Mice with score cards! Puck with a walking stick. The look on Elvis’s face when Beatrix gets knocked down by Tabitha! The way all the boys as well as the mice are ready to defend little Beatrix! So many wonderful details of life in the laundry room. But where is Sir Figaro? And I’ve always wondered if we’ll ever find out why he and Tabitha speak Spanish. We met their “woman” in the arc that is on GoComics now, and she spoke English.
I so love that the Robber Mice Ladies ™ are all for going to little Bea’s rescue here. Soooo cute, and the Olympic like score cards. I love them. We really need the full on origin stories of Baba and the Robber Mice Ladies.
Yes, but as you can see where Tabitha is holding off Bea, the RML ™ are there just in case she goes too far, brandishing the great and mighty sword (I have no idea what the great and mighty sword is called.) to protect our Bea.
Hmmmm…you may be right. I was thinking the red was anger and the shocked looks and defensive postures were fear for Beatrix’s safety. I don’t want Beatrix to be a bully who attacks unknown females.
Riding the city bus, in the late night,
Through the inner city, and over the bridge,
To grandmas house I go,
This will definitely be one of my favorites…
PUCK IN LEDERHOSEN!! DAS IS SEHR GUT!!
( That is very good in German)
I would love to have Elvis’s face on a T-shirt or coffee mug!!!
Round 2:Beatrix vs. Tabitha WHO WILL CATCH THE RED DOT THE FASTEST???
Beatrix reminds me of my kitten. I had to toss the shower curtain over the rod so she won’t climb it.
Love how Tabitha is protecting her in the last panel. Can’t wait for the rematch. Wait till she meets Tommy.
And the robber mouser with her sword. Who is she protecting, Lupin?
Elvis is shocked! Love his face. Puck falling into position…so cute. Beatrix doesn’t like new faces reminds me of our new kitten. Beatrix wants to make sure her place in the household is safe.
1. Tommy looks so HANDSOME! And a bow tie!
2. Sophia!!!
3. PUCK IN LEDERHOSEN!!!
4. The robber mice as judges!
5. Beatrix confronting Tabitha and Elvis’s reaction! (He’s a bit scared of Tabitha, I suspect!)
6. “I challenge you!” Oh Beatrix/Scout!!!
WONDERFUL!
I don’t even know where to begin with the awesomeness. Bea is def gonna catch the red dot someday. The reactions to the slap! The lederhosen! The mice! Excellent news update!
I so love the mice with their ratings – all in the 9.7 or 10 range, they know a quality climbing kitten when they see one! As does, of course, Tabitha (who is capturing the Red Dot on a postcard in front of my computer screen as I type – will she introduce Beatrix to that arcane talent? Hmmmm….)
And Puck loves the journey more than the race, of course, he’s the most Zen of cats ever I think!
I was waiting to see what would happen when Beatrix and Tabitha met. Love how everyone including the robber mice are ready to defend Beatrix and that Tabitha thinks she is cool. Maybe she will teach how to catch the red dot. I love Elvis’ face. Another great comic. It made me laugh out loud.
Another winner! Where to begin, the race, the robber mice judging the race, Elvis’s look of abject horror after THE SLAP! Georgia, how do you manage to pack so many laughs into one strip? I love too, that the Shelter cat strip will be available as a poster. I am definitely looking into that.
Oh, Georgia, you’ve outdone yourself this time! What can I say that hasn’t already been said by others? Every panel is chockful of goodies and I loved this one to the nth degree. You do realise that you’re setting yourself up to higher and higher standards, don’t you?
BTW, I haven’t commented recently but I’m totally in love with little Beatrix’ story. Even if you, in real life, don’t adopt another cat, your Woman and Man absolutely HAVE to. When I first saw her big paws, I couldn’t help name her Rosie Toesies even if she is now Beatrix.
Great strip, that Beatrix is a pistol!! Great reaction from Tabitha!! I agree with everything everyone else has said. Just one question, did the microphone hit Puck in the eye as he dropped into position or why is he squinting in the last panel? Would love to have Alpine Puck as a profile pic! I too am about the journey.
I actually had difficulties swallowing my coffee when I saw the look on Elvis’s face. Hysterical 🙂 I love how they are all defensive “big brothers,” and what a great family they have all become. I never think your strips can get any better, but somehow, they always do 🙂
Yes she certainly is. I hope the fostering fails and she stays with the boys. Although if she is adopted that would bring us another family to get to know. Hmmmmmm wondering where Georgia is going with this. can’t wait for Thursday!!!
Queen Bea is definitely awesome! Gloria – I wonder if Ceiling Woman might take her on, so she can be properly tutored by Tabitha? Mind you, I recall there is still a third flat in the big pink house we’ve not yet seen…
I love good comics, but even the best I only skim. BCN, though, I’ve learned that to really get the best out of it, I need to savour every panel. The umbrella in Tommy’s mug, Bea’s pink climbing outfit, Elvis puffy in the corner – every little nuance is what makes BCN the best comic ever.
Yes and I love Sophie snacking with her food in a crystal glass as she reads at the news desk, which is gorgeous by the way! It had to be for Sophie to agree to sit behind it. hee hee. I love these cats as much as I love my own, that’s great story telling Georgia!!!
This is so great! (Although I miss Sir Fig too!) But what is that in Sophie’s glass? It almost looks like a catnip mouse but then I thought it might be ice cream with a cookie stuck in it.
Is this a crystal dish as in the cat food commercial (can’t remember the brand) where it’s served up in a crystal dish to a cat of clearly superior taste? That would certainly fit with Sophie’s character in the strip.
This one will eventually be on GoComics, and then yes, it will be available! I leave the full strip prints to them, they are better at printing those than I!
I am in awe. That’s about the only thing I can say that hasn’t already been said. This comic is the best thing I have found in a LONG time. Georgia, thank you so much for sharing your talent and your world.
Oh how I just love love love this strip! I am so glad I found it, I now am all current (read them all!) Your illustrations are amazing, and as a fellow cat person, I always laugh!
So is anyone else ready for the weekly half hour animation? Who would you pick to voice the characters?
(I dearly wish I had the re$ources and connections to make this happen!)
OK, I’m gonna go with “living or dead” on this one…
Man: Robert Downey Jr.
Woman: Sandra Bullock
Lupin: (simply must be) Harrison Ford
Puck: Hugh Jackman
Elvis: Bruce Willis
Beatrix: Kiera Knightley
Tommy’s Woman: Mary Tyler Moore
Tommy: Dick Van Dyke
Sophie: Audrey Hepburn
Tabitha’s Woman: Salma Hayek
Tabitha: Diana Rigg (as Emma Peel)
Sir Figaro: Antonio Banderas
Burt: Craig Ferguson
Baba Mouse: Betty White
Agnes: Kate Beckinsale
Alice: Scarlett Johansson
Natasha: Barbro Hedstrom
Violet: Angelina Jolie
Freddie: Estelle Getty
Tillie: Hermione Baddeley
And yes, I do realize that I ignored the obvious first choice of the Man and the Woman actually being voiced by The Man and The Woman, as well as Tommy’s woman and Tabitha’s Woman also being voiced by their real-life counterparts.
BAHAHAHAHA… I just realized… GoComics is up to the Tilly storyline. And the one with the Woman asking Tabitha’s Woman if her cats are acting strangely came out on the same day as this one.
So we have two comics with a female cat reacting badly to a strange female cat coming out on the same day, with Tabitha getting in on both sides of it!
(Also, I still love the “Maybe we’ll find evidence of a grisly death!” “I’ll bring the kids!”)
Just ordered the poster. I am so happy to have stumbled across this delightful comic strip. How wonderful It Is to escape Into such a joy filled place and forget for a moment or two the “real world” filled with such outright ugliness.
Quite literally jaw dropping 😮 !
Hello everyone! I have exciting news: TopatoCo now has the BCN Special Report Shelter Cats poster for sale! https://www.topatoco.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TO&Product_Code=GC-BCN-SHELTER&Category_Code=GC I love their site and I’m delighted to have something from the comic for sale there, especially a report so near and dear to my heart!
Just like before when the poster was on Zazzle, my royalties from this poster will be donated to Purrfect Pals!
is the same paper as Zazzle? I would have prefer a better/sturdier paper. if the paper caveat Topaco is better I may have to get a second poster.
not caveat, available
I am not certain to be honest. Readers reported that the Zazzle posters came out printed well (whew!) I had not heard on the paper yet!

Thank you! 😀
This is officially my favorite strip ever! The slap, Elvis’s face, Tabitha showing respect for a fellow alpha female (in training)…pure gold on this one.
Me too! My jaw dropped, and then I laughed so hard I nearly choked. That was wonderful!!!
Love it, love it, love it. I especially love Alpine Puck.
The Robber Mice as the judging committee. Obviously impartial.
I love the robber mice posting their scores!
You got to use the lederhosen! 😀
Yes!! A reader on Twitter pointed out that I had remembered wrong, there is no lederhosen in Neko Atsume! And so, here he is!!!
Best Elvis face EVER.
Elvis’ face! And Puck in lederhosen! This made my day much better.
This is AMAZING!
Yes, she is awesome, isn’t she?
Robber Mice with score cards! Puck with a walking stick. The look on Elvis’s face when Beatrix gets knocked down by Tabitha! The way all the boys as well as the mice are ready to defend little Beatrix! So many wonderful details of life in the laundry room. But where is Sir Figaro? I think Beatrix hit TABITHA… look at the red mark on Tabitha’s face from being smacked.
The Elvis face is priceless! Another home run strip, Georgia!
Puck in lederhosen!!! I’m overdosed on the cuteness. PS where do the cats get all their outfits?
Also: Puck in lederhosen!
Elvis’s face is officially my favorite thing ever
Riding the city bus, in the late night,
Through the inner city, and over the bridge,
To grandmas house I go,
This will definitely be one of my favorites…
PUCK IN LEDERHOSEN!! DAS IS SEHR GUT!!
( That is very good in German)
I would love to have Elvis’s face on a T-shirt or coffee mug!!!
Round 2:Beatrix vs. Tabitha WHO WILL CATCH THE RED DOT THE FASTEST???
How I love Tabitha. She’s got a new protege — if Beatrix stops fighting long enough to realize what a great mentor can do for her.
Beatrix just has to take part in the 2am running of the cats now
we havn’t had one of those for a while
Ooh, I may have to squeeze that in!
😊
Beatrix reminds me of my kitten. I had to toss the shower curtain over the rod so she won’t climb it.
Love how Tabitha is protecting her in the last panel. Can’t wait for the rematch. Wait till she meets Tommy.
And the robber mouser with her sword. Who is she protecting, Lupin?
Natasha???
Elvis is shocked! Love his face. Puck falling into position…so cute. Beatrix doesn’t like new faces reminds me of our new kitten. Beatrix wants to make sure her place in the household is safe.
Wait…there’s no robber mouse east german with a 3.0 score instead of the high 9’s! Glad it’s not an olympic event…Beatrix rules!
Ummm can we please have that Elvis face as its own image… I require it as my new profile picture lol.
I will try to get that onto FB sometime soon!
I just used the Snipping Tool and made it my profile pic from that lol
1. Tommy looks so HANDSOME! And a bow tie!
2. Sophia!!!
3. PUCK IN LEDERHOSEN!!!
4. The robber mice as judges!
5. Beatrix confronting Tabitha and Elvis’s reaction! (He’s a bit scared of Tabitha, I suspect!)

i love this! so nice to see women helping other women! (felines helping other felines)
yay mentorship!
awesome! and a big ‘thumbs up’ to Tabitha for not reacting badly to the situation 🙂
Puck with the combination walking stick and cane is just so apropos. I like how so often you have things have more than one use or meaning.
Tabitha is a class act/cat.
Thank you, Gene!
The expression on Elvis’s face is priceless !!
Absolutely love the tank tops. Really cute.
In the last panel, lower left corner, is that pouffy Elvis??
Yes! 🙂
Another winner! Where to begin, the race, the robber mice judging the race, Elvis’s look of abject horror after THE SLAP! Georgia, how do you manage to pack so many laughs into one strip? I love too, that the Shelter cat strip will be available as a poster. I am definitely looking into that.
Thank you, Susie!!
Only Tommy would use an umbrella in his coffee mug. He enjoys life, that Tommy!
Puck. Lederhosen. Awwesssooome!
And bless those boys – ready to stand up to Tabitha to protect Beatrix, even though T scares the bejesus out them!!!
Oh, Georgia, you’ve outdone yourself this time! What can I say that hasn’t already been said by others? Every panel is chockful of goodies and I loved this one to the nth degree. You do realise that you’re setting yourself up to higher and higher standards, don’t you?

Thank you, Jude! I promise, there are great things planned for this little gal. 😉
Amazing. You get a perfect 10, Georgia. Thank you.
The slap heard round the world!!!
I have great need of Elvis in panel 9 on a T-shirt.
BEST. STRIP. EVER.
‘Nuff said.
I love to see Sophie as an anchor! not a terribly involved anchor, but baby steps….
I believe he is anticipating a swat from Tabitha, ha!
I miss seeing Sir Figaro, the gang is all there except him…stuck at the Gato Noticias anchor desk, covering la competicion de escalada
Sophie at the anchor desk!
Puck in lederhosen!!! My life is complete. ❤
Why is Puck squinting after dropping into position? Did he hurt his eye?
I think he is trying his best to brave, but is quite prepared to be swatted by Tabitha! :)?
Makes sense. He seems more of a lover than a fighter. Like Finn.
I actually had difficulties swallowing my coffee when I saw the look on Elvis’s face. Hysterical 🙂 I love how they are all defensive “big brothers,” and what a great family they have all become. I never think your strips can get any better, but somehow, they always do 🙂
Haha! Chillin girl cat!
I can’t wait until Thursday! Beatrix and Tabitha will make such a great team!
And i agree with Tabitha, This kid is Awesome.
Anybody else who agrees Please reply.
Love the glimpse of Tabitha’s twitchy tail in panel 6!
So, when are we gonna have emogies of BCN?
I love good comics, but even the best I only skim. BCN, though, I’ve learned that to really get the best out of it, I need to savour every panel. The umbrella in Tommy’s mug, Bea’s pink climbing outfit, Elvis puffy in the corner – every little nuance is what makes BCN the best comic ever.

This is so great! (Although I miss Sir Fig too!) But what is that in Sophie’s glass? It almost looks like a catnip mouse but then I thought it might be ice cream with a cookie stuck in it.
I think it would be kibble in Sophie’s glass. Question is – would she share with Tommy?
Is this a crystal dish as in the cat food commercial (can’t remember the brand) where it’s served up in a crystal dish to a cat of clearly superior taste? That would certainly fit with Sophie’s character in the strip.
It is! 😀
Of course! She’s definitely a Fancy Feast girl. What I want to know is what is she reading? Is there such a thing as a feline bodice ripper?
she’s got a cup in her right paw,and a green book in her left.and cookies in front of her?
Georgia, I absolutely love your cat family! Are prints of an entire strip available to buy like your strips on GoComics.com??
This one will eventually be on GoComics, and then yes, it will be available! I leave the full strip prints to them, they are better at printing those than I!
I am in awe. That’s about the only thing I can say that hasn’t already been said. This comic is the best thing I have found in a LONG time. Georgia, thank you so much for sharing your talent and your world.
Thank you so much, Victoria!
Oh how I just love love love this strip! I am so glad I found it, I now am all current (read them all!) Your illustrations are amazing, and as a fellow cat person, I always laugh!
Thank you, Valerie!
I love that the Robber Mice are now featured more prominently.
It’s interesting that Sophie will sit with Tommy now.
So is anyone else ready for the weekly half hour animation? Who would you pick to voice the characters?

Hey! i want to voice one too!
I think that Georgia should do casting and have fans post their auditions for different characters in the comments
Is Pucky ok? His poor eye looks closed/hurt?
I meant for him to be anticipating a swat from Tabitha. 🙂
So brave to jump into the fray even though he may get tackled by Tabitha! And I also love the glimpse of puffy Elvis in the bottom corner! 🙂
PLEASE? Make a larger drawing of Beatrix available. I adore her. And please add here to the list of characters.
I plan on doing this very soon! 🙂
BAHAHAHAHA… I just realized… GoComics is up to the Tilly storyline. And the one with the Woman asking Tabitha’s Woman if her cats are acting strangely came out on the same day as this one.

am i the only person who thinks tommy looks like pusheen?
