This one made me laugh out loud. My coworkers think I’m a little nuts but I don’t care. Elvis looks happier than I have ever seen him. Thank you Georgia for a much needed laugh.
Poor Elvis, he is needing love because Beatrix is not there, and the toddler and baby are asleep! So that just leaves Woman! Georgia – I stayed up until twelve reading my book! It is SO cute!
For some reason Elvis in the baby wrap reminds me of when I was a kid and snuck a kitten in to the hospital to see my mother. It made her day and the day of the woman who was sharing her room. The little angel was quiet the entire time.
This is so my cat this week, except more bitey so i know he’s there. I went on a 3 day vacation and he still thinks i’ll disappear again at a hat drop. if i owned hats.
You must be reading my mind. We just adopted a kitten that wants to nap on me all the time. Been wondering if something like that would work for him. Lol
I literally laughed out loud when I saw that last panel!
We got our copy of the book and my kids have just been pouring over it. We all absolutely love it. Can’t wait for the next one! (Whenever that may be 😊)
Right now Jingle Belle is outside the office trying to get under the closed door. I shut her out because she keeps trying to use the cork bulletin board as a scratch pad…..
Oh, poor Elvis. Misses his kitten and just wants to be with His Woman. I love his smile in the last panel!
This is a strip I definitely need to show my mother. When our current Senior Cat was the New Kitten he was VERY much a velcro cat (still is, but not QUITE as bad), and it drove Mom NUTS. She would tell me that we needed to get a baby carrier for Dell so she could walk around the house safely. And he loves being snuggled so much that he probably would have loved it just as much as Elvis does here!
**I just wanted to say that I am so glad you decided to print your comics into book format. Yes, one could go back and re-read the archives, as they are at our fingertips with just the click of a mouse or the touch of a phone screen. I am one of those people that will never be into kindles or e-readers or any of that technology because there is just something about holding a book in your hands and flipping through the pages manually. Plus now the pictures are even bigger, so I will be able to catch those hidden gems I may have missed! So thank you again. I know that it had to have been so time consuming getting a book together while making new material all while being a mom. I should know, I have 4 kids and we home school, so I have no clue how you get it all done!!
ha! By some weird coincedence, my own siamese, Yankee, behaves just the same right now. Very, very needy indeed.) Maybe some seasonal thing? But now i feel like i definitely need something to carry him around, thanks for the idea.
He’d never acquiesce to being carried hands-free, but my male cat does go through these ‘I need to be constantly in contact with you’ moods from time-to-time. It’s the independent ones who seem to fall hardest …
I will be honest: This is a real thing that Elvis enjoys on his very needy days, and I’ve been trying to work it into the comic for a while. I have pictures. I will post them today on the FB page and Twitter account. It started one evening when Elvis was particularly in want for my attention. I joked to the Man, “Geeze, I should just put him in the baby wrap!” Then, a light bulb went off, and I actually tried it. Elvis immediately fell asleep and purred for 45 minutes straight while I painted. I highly recommend a baby wrap for needy cats, if they are comfortable with being held close without clawing or feeling anxious.
My little guy, Sammy, reminds me so much of Pucky, but today he’s an Elvis. Sammy loves the baby carrier and I’m just crazy enough to carry him in it…until the REAL baby gets here!
Sometimes I have to carry orphan bottle baby kittens ariybd in a pouch . It seems to give them comfort when they can hear a heartbeat, but I have not learned to purr!
I just love your sweet, needy little curmudgeon!! Thanks for sharing the real story behind the story. I can’t wait for my book to get here, I have been going to the post office at least twice a day to check for it. ARRRRGHHHH. I don’t think i can wait much longer so i will have to go to the bookstore to get another one! and maybe another and another, and another… Love the pics of you at the bookstore!
Xena loves to sit in a chair next to me while I’m working at my desk. Every once in a while she’ll wake up and let out a pathetic little cry. Then I have to reach over and rest my hand on her side. She’ll snuggle in tighter and start to purr. Then she falls asleep and I can remove my hand and get back to work. It’s cute but borderline annoying depending on deadlines. My one handed typing is not as fast as I’d like.
BRILLIANT…and very sweet. Wonderful how you find these “from-real-life” inspirations and translate them to ink & paint for our enjoyment. As many have noted, your (long-studied & practiced) artistic talents are superlative…but it’s the “Story-Telling”, narrative skill (and empathy) that makes BCN such a fantastic strip. YAY, Georgia !!! Thank you, so much !
LOL @ “needier than usual”. Clark was feeling needy this morning too and insisted I hold him for quite a while. I think our Grady would love it if The Man around our house would wear him in a baby wrap!
LOL, I’m going to send this one to a friend of mine. She has a really needy cat.
Finally got my book yesterday.
Wow! I can’t believe how much the boys have changed since the beginning.
Can’t wait for volume 2.
Thank you Nicolas! I was thinking that myself, recently! They’re drawn quite differently now! In the beginning I thought it was funnier to leave their face expressions very blank, but as time went on I began to draw the expressions more and more.
So cute! Especially since you say that you do this for real! I haven’t gotten my book, and then I checked my Barnes & Noble account — it was still in the cart; I hadn’t completed the purchase. Annoyed with myself. Grrrr.
I did darken the baby wrap in Photoshop, to help the “Little Koala Baby Wrap” text pop a bit. And on the Woman’s pants too. That may be what you’re seeing?
I have to admit, I like Lupin and Puck (Not necessarily in that order) more than Elvis, but today I adored his expression in every panel in which he appeared.
I got my copy of the book yesterday and finished it in record time. Then I posted about it on Facebook, encouraging all my friends to get copies. Please put me on the list for pre-pre-ordering Book II!
That last panel is so good! I’m still wiping away tears of laughter. Do the other boys ever get a little jealous and want the same treatment? This seems like something Puck might enjoy. Not that Elvis would be willing to share his snuggler or his Woman. 🙂
Beatrix is based on a real cat, who sadly passed away a few years ago (never fear, Beatrix in the comic is here to stay! And honor her memory). I will share her story one day, but I will say now that she was every bit as marvelous as Beatrix in the comic, and an excellent climber too!
Georgia, I love BCN. You provide me with a smile I keep with me all day. When I need a boost, I reread the strip or go back to the archives.
I pre-ordered the book and was excited to get to read it on the very first day. It was as special as Christmas Morning when I was a kid.
I actually read the comment section of the strip. I rarely do this any place else. The comments make me feel like part of a large family (of BCN lovers). Beatrix (and you) have motivated me to move into the 21st century. I reopened my Twitter account just so I can follow BCN and you.
My older son shared BCN with me a few months ago. To my delight, we definitely text or talk about the strip twice a week (–sometimes more often than that). I enjoy this time we share because it has led to many relaxed and pleasant conversations on other topics. We get to be two adult people instead of mother and son. Thank you.
Wow, Geridancer, thank you so much for all of this. This comment made me so happy. I’m so glad you and your son enjoy the comic together and that it leads to good times talking. This is pretty much exactly why cartoonists do what they do, you’ve made my day!
I’ve been saying I need one of those for Miss Daisy. She’s needy all the time! Wants to be held and cuddled when working at the computer, when trying to read, when watching TV, when trying to cook supper, brushing my teeth… just about all the time! And, she’s forever reaching up with her front legs wanting to be picked up and if you don’t, or do it fast enough, she’ll grab hold of your shirt tail, pick up her hind legs and will just hang there! Needless to say I have a few shirts with holes in them from a needy hanging cat.
This is probably a strange comment, but I love The Woman’s shoes! 🙂
I sent a link to this strip to my husband – we have a needy cat like Elvis, and this may be a good solution. 🙂
The employee helping me find the stack of books told me she was interested in the book because the illustration on her machine was intriguing. I showed her a couple of them and hopefully it will then get shared for those who don’t know about BCN.
Point the First — If I tried that kind of snaggy with Fido I’d be in serious trouble (at least until I get him to the kitty pedicure parlor).
Point the Second — Not only was the book priceless — Amazon sent me a 13¢ refund for pre-ordering. 🙂 🙂 <3 <3
I need to get one of these for my cat, who is part-Siamese. Not only will he get all in your face if he wants attention (and he’ll go after *anyone* he thinks will pet him), he also cries non-stop until he takes a nap or I sit down and give up my lap.
For the record, a good friend had an enormous orange cat who would happily be carried around ALL DAY LONG, and tolerated being passed between people just fine because it meant that his feet never had to touch the floor.
She ended up getting a baby sling to carry him in, just so she could get anything at all done and not trip over the helpful loving kitty.
So for all the commenters saying maybe they should do it: DO IT. It’s been done already, in real life.
I love the way Elvis is so needy and your solution. Got my book on Tuesday. It’s a beautiful book! My cats gave it to me for Mothers Day. So when will the next book come out? Just kidding. Sort of.
Book not here yet…sadness…..Happy Elvis face in last panel….joy!!!! Neither of my crew is clingy, although one might notice Mr Pip arriving (with great fanfare) on the bed for his nightly brushing from my husband (which Pip DEMANDS as his due).
Abby’s must be the same because Gio gets needy too..I like the idea of the wrap, that may just work for him…In other news, My book came damaged, but Amazon was really quick to send me another one. We are going to the beach next week so I’m saving it to read there. Thanks so much Georgia, I can’t wait to read it..
Indeed. I get a MyComics page in email, but the BCN without the comments just…isn’t all it can be. Not saying it isn’t great, but the comments add to the delight.
Georgia! The Book arrived today!! I’m such a Happy Cat!! Thanks go to my husband Tom who told me of your comic, read it loyally every single week! Thanks for sharing a lot of yourself and famiky with us!! Love ya all!
I was having a really crappy day at the office yesterday, when what should pop into my FB feed but the post telling me there was a new Breaking Cat News. You have no idea how much that helped lift my spirits, so thank you.
I am also now contemplating a baby carrier for when Atticus gets a bit sooky.
I got my book and, tried very hard not to read it all at once. I put it down and, within a very short time pick it up again. I am on my second time around
I love it.
Hah! When I took care of my brother’s prickly jerk of a cat, I would holster him in my motorcycle jacket when I got home at the end of the day. He’d purr like mad for half an hour or so while I unpacked and got dinner ready, then hop out and go back to ignoring me ’til the next morning.
I have never carried a cat in a baby sling BUT one day around 25-30 years ago I came out of a meeting to find a little half grown tabby cat under the front of my car. She came out and gave me the “kitty greeting dance” (up on hind feet trying to get close to my nose.) I picked her up, buttoned her inside my jacket and drove home with her like that–she just cuddled close, didn’t make any fuss. At home ran straight to my older longhaired cat’s dish and started gobbling the leftovers (then hid under the stove when Stormee Kitaen came bumbling in). I called the new kitty “Dancer” but my then boyfriend, now hubby, declared the kitty had called him up and told him her name was “Dickens”! (She was a little dickens, sometimes)! Her full name became D. (for Dancer) Dickens Bent-tail. Her tail, due to an injury or birth defect, was crooked so it always curved along her side. Looked normal when she sat down and curled it around her feet, though.
D. Dickens Bent-tail and Stormee Kitaen lived with me for some years until I moved to Orange County for a new job (and to join the aforementioned boyfriend) and the two cats lived out their lives in the care of my parents, who also fed a number of outdoor cats. (Not quite crazy cat people, if they could catch any kittens they were spayed or neutered). Cats are long gone, parents likewise, all are missed!
My cats aren’t fans of being picked up, but they’re both needy . . . one cat has to sit beside the sewing table as I’m making stuff, and the other has to sit on my lap as I watch telly. Every time I start the particular activity, they come trotting to join me. While I sort of wish they would take to a baby wrap, it’s nice having them want to be near.
AND–my books arrived last night–some for friends, and one for me, of course!
Oh that is so true! My Amber was like that all the time. Wanting to “assist” & snoopervise. =^~^= She was a Bombay rescue. That’s the perfect solution! Now look at that happy face. Poor guy has empty nest syndrome. Wonderful as always, Georgia. You capture their essence so well. I couldn’t get the book this month but I’m counting on it in June. Maybe one for my wayward little one also. He’s in S. Dakota now and all grown up. If 34 is grown up. *wink* They’re always our little ones. Sometimes he likes that. Sometimes not. 😉
I just discovered your work and it is amazing. I ordered your book from Amazon and it should be here tomorrow. I can’t wait to share. The Beatrix and Elvis dynamic is fantastic and I love the artwork as well as the sentiments. P.S. I love my 3 shelter cats with a passion. Just lost my 15 year old all black girl named Inky two weeks ago. We are in mourning. I will make a special point to look for an older, black, differently-abled puckish cat when the time comes to add to our colony once more.
Hello Sheila! Welcome! I’m happy you like the comic! I’m sorry to hear of Inky’s passing. It is wonderful that you are considering opening your home to an older black cat in the future! <3
When my Burmese senior citicat started to ask to be carried all the time, I found a cheap & easy solution on Instructables: http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-No-Sew-Cat-Sling/
Or just google “no sew cat sling.”
Received the three copies of BCN that I ordered. One for me and the other two I gave to friends. But, several other cat lover friends that I know will love the book as much as I do. So Amazon, here I come to order more.
I absolutely love the BCN strip. Every one of them is a special joy to read. Not only are you a talented artist but, your love of cats really comes through. Thank you.
Byte all but disappears when it’s nice outside, sometimes for days. When the weather’s bad, thought, he’s in the house and as needy enough for five cats.
Okay; went out today and bought one of the last 3 books at Barnes & Noble in Cary, NC. Note: Only 2 left for anyone else in Cary!
I bought this copy to send to my mom as a gift. Now that I see how much prettier the colors are in the book than on my cheap(free) monitor I’m going to have to get a copy for my own too!
Georgia.. Have you figured out a way for us to be able to buy autographed copies?
Another thought.. Where would we buy the BCN book so that you get the biggest profit for yourself?
Hello Ed! As far as I know, it’s the same for me wherever it is purchased! And I have sadly not yet figured out how to get autographed copies out. Many people have requested, and I am so happy that people would like them autographed, but based on the requests I could not keep up with mailing copies back or with sending bookplates out either. It is an amazingly good problem to have, but I am sorry to have it because I know a lot of people would like to have signed copies. I have been talking to my editor, and they’re looking into it with our publisher. But right now, I could not keep up with signing and returning books or book plates. I’m hoping I get to do some signings soon! 🙂
I use pencil, micron pens with archival/waterproof ink, and Winsor & Newton watercolors on paper, then I scan it and add the little “live” signs, station identifiers (also painted on paper) and scroll text, etc in Photoshop. The comic is 90% ink, paint, and paper, I’m no good with digital mediums. The Man, funny enough, is a digital artist who works with a tablet and stylus, though! We’re an “old world meets new world” art couple, haha!
Can’t comment on Twitter / Facebook etc because I’m twitless, but the photos of Georgia and Elvis are absolutely hilarious. Love the woman’s facial expressions, says it all!
OMG….this one had me smiling, laughing, and nodding my head knowingly. “Going somewhere, can I join you?” “Maybe I’ll just stare at you” “Did you change shampoos?” Priceless.
My cat Bijoux is VERY needy sometimes, loves to be carried around, held and rocked, you name it. Should’ve named him Velcro. A sling is the perfect solution! And he loves to play hairdresser with my wet hair after a shower, and purrs up a storm while doing so. Loves my coconut shampoo.
Got my book and couldn’t help myself….I read it all in one sitting. What can I say? More please! And soon! 😀
I’ve now read it through four times. I see new details each time that I missed the previous time. Such great detail. Can’t wait for the next book to be available……
Unfortunately I can’t access Facebook or Twitter as I use a library computer but would LOVE to see that pic of Elvis in the baby sling here…..please?
Somehow I missed this page, and it’s the funniest yet! We joke about getting a baby sling for my needy Peanut all the time. (And if I actually had a baby sling, it wouldn’t be a joke!) Thank you for your beautiful work, Georgia. I can’t WAIT to get my copies of BCN News Vol. I and start gifting the lucky recipients!
So cute! I have a cat that’s really needy. I should get her a carrier or something. 🙂
Awww, poor Elvy, needs a huggy
Elvis needs his diaper changed?? 😉 🙂 🙂
Yay!!! Thank you!
Love that smile in the last panel. Between being bored and missing his little Beatrix he just needs some lovin’.
For some reason Elvis in the baby wrap reminds me of when I was a kid and snuck a kitten in to the hospital to see my mother. It made her day and the day of the woman who was sharing her room. The little angel was quiet the entire time.
Oh man, what a great idea! I want to do that with my guy! I wonder if he would like it……I love needy Elvis!
Awww, poor clingy Elvis. Jingle Belle Katz is also a love junkie, underfoot with her “I WANT” cry demanding attention.
Awwww! Don’t we all have days like that?
This is absolutely my cat Topher. I don’t have kids, but I may have to get one of those baby wraps for him.
Poor Elvis. He’s lost without his intern.
Awwww……Elvis really misses Beatrix! He doesn’t know what to do with himself without her around.
AWESOME !!!!!
Poor Elvis!!! “Did you change shampoos” is priceless!!
OMG, Georgia, perfect as always. As mom to two needy, elderly boys, I think I need one of those wraps…
Didn’t see that coming! Good thing I had swallowed my tea before I got to the last panel.
PS got our copy of the book. Love it!
Yay! Thank you, Dew!
Cute! And a perfect solution!
Still hoping for a new episode of ‘Our IX Lives’, ma’am.
Very soon! Very soon! 😀
OMG Our cat Timothy would have been the happiest cat in the world if we carried him around in a snuggly all day.
That is so cute! Putting elivis in the baby wrap
That is so cute! Putting elivis in a baby warap is a good idea
OMG, that last panel, LOL.
So… is this based on real events?
There is nothing needier than a big alpha cat!
This is so my cat this week, except more bitey so i know he’s there. I went on a 3 day vacation and he still thinks i’ll disappear again at a hat drop. if i owned hats.
That’s what I call having a kitty bump. (P.S. I ordered the book and it is en route!)
I so look forward to these strips, they are enchanting.
Happy is the kitty that has his own.
I swear, there are times when I think that Molly would crawl inside of me if she could. Great solution! And the scrolling banner is great!
OMG, this is every. day. of. my. life. with Sullivan.
You must be reading my mind. We just adopted a kitten that wants to nap on me all the time. Been wondering if something like that would work for him. Lol
The purrrrrfect solution! =)
Loving my book! Thank you for making it available to us!
Yay!!! Thank you for buying it!!
“Sighing loudly for no reason”. Priceless.
I love the last panel, the man’s look of surprise/confusion and Elvis’ look of pure joy. You do such a good job of capturing emotions.
Thank you, Sue!
“Reports are flooding in…”
I literally laughed out loud when I saw that last panel!
We got our copy of the book and my kids have just been pouring over it. We all absolutely love it. Can’t wait for the next one! (Whenever that may be 😊)
Thank you, Nicki!!! I hope soon, myself!!
Right now Jingle Belle is outside the office trying to get under the closed door. I shut her out because she keeps trying to use the cork bulletin board as a scratch pad…..
Trevor’s probably a fan from watching it with Burt. I wonder if he’s who will introduce Beatrix to it? The Man and The Woman in the last panel 😄
All Elvis needs is love.
Poor Elvis misses Bea so much. It’s so cute that the woman is taking care of him. The look on his face in the last pannel is priceless.
Love the book.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Elvis that happy.
Oh thank you! What a wonderful ending and such a surprise the best solution possible!!!<3
Oh, poor Elvis. Misses his kitten and just wants to be with His Woman. I love his smile in the last panel!

My needy (and kneady) boy loves it!
Annnnd the pictures are posted on FB, Instagram, and shortly Twitter, ha!!
Love the idea! Sadly my needy wusscat doesn’t like to be cuddled otherwise this would be perfect!
The peoples’ faces in the last panel makes a great episode into a perfect one!
My little guy, Sammy, reminds me so much of Pucky, but today he’s an Elvis. Sammy loves the baby carrier and I’m just crazy enough to carry him in it…until the REAL baby gets here!

How absolutely perfect! And Elvis looks so happy!
I do this with my 16-year-old Korat all the time!
How absolutely perfect! And Elvis looks so happy in his cuddle wrap! Great solution, Georgia!
I *love* the expressions on all three faces in the last panel! Another fabulous win, Georgia!

it’s more likely than you think!
😉
LOL @ “needier than usual”. Clark was feeling needy this morning too and insisted I hold him for quite a while. I think our Grady would love it if The Man around our house would wear him in a baby wrap!
LOL, I’m going to send this one to a friend of mine. She has a really needy cat.

Poor sad Elvis. I love his smile in the last panel.
Did you do something different this time with the painting? The shading looks a little different than usual. Can’t put my finger on it.
I did darken the baby wrap in Photoshop, to help the “Little Koala Baby Wrap” text pop a bit. And on the Woman’s pants too. That may be what you’re seeing?

Ma’am? Ma’am? Is that another book? Ma’am?

You are one of a kind Elvis….
That last panel is so good! I’m still wiping away tears of laughter. Do the other boys ever get a little jealous and want the same treatment? This seems like something Puck might enjoy. Not that Elvis would be willing to share his snuggler or his Woman. 🙂
“Maybe I could just stare at you?” Heh…
I’ve given this strip a plug on my Tumblr: http://lee-m-10538.tumblr.com/ .
Thank you, Lee!
Is Beatrix based on a real cat that you know, or is she fictional?
Beatrix is based on a real cat, who sadly passed away a few years ago (never fear, Beatrix in the comic is here to stay! And honor her memory). I will share her story one day, but I will say now that she was every bit as marvelous as Beatrix in the comic, and an excellent climber too!

As soon as I saw the title I knew it was going to be hysterical! Love seeing Elvis’ softer side!
I’ve been saying I need one of those for Miss Daisy. She’s needy all the time!
Thank you!! They are real, haha! They’re a great pair of Doc Martens I’ve had forever. I love them.
What a great idea. I wish my clingy cat, Jeremy, would ride in a snuggli. (Incidentally, he is 15 today, but still thinks he is my kitten.)
Awww!! Happy birthday, Jeremy!
Some days are like that Elvis.
I did happen to find myself in Barnes and Noble on Tuesday night so I bought a copy of the book.
Yay!! Thank you, Abby!
The employee helping me find the stack of books told me she was interested in the book because the illustration on her machine was intriguing. I showed her a couple of them and hopefully it will then get shared for those who don’t know about BCN.
I hope so too! Thank you for spreading the word!
Point the First — If I tried that kind of snaggy with Fido I’d be in serious trouble (at least until I get him to the kitty pedicure parlor).
Point the Second — Not only was the book priceless — Amazon sent me a 13¢ refund for pre-ordering. 🙂 🙂 <3 <3
Haha!! That’s awesome!
And so are you xxx
OI! AMAZON…….where is my book?
Oh no! 🙁
Made it to the local B&N just in time to purchase the last copy of your book !! 😺
When i got to the last panel i burst out laughing!
Very happily read my book last night. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Pam!!
I have read my new book twice! Better than even could imagine. BRAVO! I got 29 cents back on mine from Amazon. Haha.
Haha!! Yay! Thank you, Ray!
Thats me when im alone
I love the “Maybe I could just stare at you” part
I have a baby sling that used to get a lot of use, but my cat hasn’t needed to be “kitteh in a bag” for a long time now.
kiitty sling ftw <3 <3
I love the way Elvis is so needy and your solution. Got my book on Tuesday. It’s a beautiful book! My cats gave it to me for Mothers Day. So when will the next book come out? Just kidding. Sort of.
My old cat loved being carried over my shoulder. My son’s cat, however, was an how-dare-you-do-this-to-me type. I just ordered your book, Hurray!
I’m so glad they sent you a new one do quickly! Have fun at the beach, Mary!
Elvis needs his diaper changed?? 😉 🙂 🙂
And I was right, Mom loves it. Got her reading the archives and she gets quite a kick out of Baba Mouse, too, as my niece has a Baba! 😉
That is fabulous!
Mine were like that when I got home after being away from them for 3 weeks!
My book was waiting for me when I got home today – thank you for all the joy you bring!
Poor Elvis is missing Beatrix!
We both read the book already! Excellent book!
I’ve done this! It was a piece of fabric tied in a sling, but it worked just fine for someone who realllly wanted to snuggle all day.
Agreed on the comment reading. This is one place on the internet the comments are always kind and friendly. Hope there is a forum someday
Indeed. I get a MyComics page in email, but the BCN without the comments just…isn’t all it can be. Not saying it isn’t great, but the comments add to the delight.
*GoComics.
(I’m a twit)
Georgia! The Book arrived today!! I’m such a Happy Cat!! Thanks go to my husband Tom who told me of your comic, read it loyally every single week! Thanks for sharing a lot of yourself and famiky with us!! Love ya all!
Thank you, Mary!!
I was having a really crappy day at the office yesterday, when what should pop into my FB feed but the post telling me there was a new Breaking Cat News. You have no idea how much that helped lift my spirits, so thank you.
I am also now contemplating a baby carrier for when Atticus gets a bit sooky.
You’re welcome! <3
This comic really is the bestest. It reminds me of my cat back home when I’m overworked here.
(Is it bad that this reminded me of my boyfriend?)
Only if you carry your boyfriend in a baby wrap.
I got my book and, tried very hard not to read it all at once. I put it down and, within a very short time pick it up again. I am on my second time around
I love it.
Thank you, Pat!
Yay!!!
When my Burmese senior citicat started to ask to be carried all the time, I found a cheap & easy solution on Instructables:
http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-No-Sew-Cat-Sling/
Or just google “no sew cat sling.”
Sighing loudly for no reason! lol
Got my books today, 1 for me and gifts for others! Thank you Georgia!
Yay!! You are welcome, thank YOU!
Thank you.
Linda, thank you so much!!
As always just love this comic. So cute! Got my kindle version of your book and I may have to order the old school print version also!
Thank you, Valerie!!
Got my little booky 🙂
Yay!!!
ma’am. ready for the next book, ma’am.
So perfect
And I thought I was the only crazy cat lady that carries the oh so needy Siamese in a kitty sling just so I can get the housework done.”………
Thanks for even considering it Ma’am! If you’re going to have problems with a book, I reckon this is a good one to have. 🙂
Thank you, Ed!! 😀
To me, it looks like you used Tayasui Sketches… I forgot, what do you use to make the comics?
I use pencil, micron pens with archival/waterproof ink, and Winsor & Newton watercolors on paper, then I scan it and add the little “live” signs, station identifiers (also painted on paper) and scroll text, etc in Photoshop. The comic is 90% ink, paint, and paper, I’m no good with digital mediums. The Man, funny enough, is a digital artist who works with a tablet and stylus, though! We’re an “old world meets new world” art couple, haha!
And, by the way… You should consider setting up a stand at Comic Con! I think it would be fun!
And soon! 😀
Yay! Thank you, Lori! Reading a book in one sitting is one of the highest compliments any author can get!
My hooman should do this to meh!
