Oooh – is there some match making going on by The People with The Mystery Man? Is it for Tommy’s Woman or The Intruder? Will Lupin allow a move to be made on his crush? Stay tuned for the next episode…. 🙂
Just love the daily strips. Lupin is so happy to great everyone and share his hair. If Tommys woman is here can Tommy be far behind? And who is the “mystery” man? Is your sister always going to be known as the intruder?
Lupin is the BEST greeter. I would love to have him welcome me. What does Puck do at parties? I forgot. I know my coat is safely guarded so I don’t have to worry about that. Whew.
I just love your kitties! Are -they- all going to be having a party too?
Lupin is the perfect greeter cat! What a considerate host!
I am LOVING the dailies, Georgia! It does my heart good to see what our boys are up to each day. I’ve never been a person to follow a daily strip before. Now as soon as I silence the alarm on my phone in the morning I’m heading straight here for my morning smile!
Ooo! A mystery man who sort of looks like the Man. Either that or maybe he’s a potential romantic match for the intruder. Real life is getting as good as Our IX Lives!
I was waiting for Lupin to leave the news desk and join the party. He is the perfect greater. Does Lupin great guest in real life too? So now the question is who is the Mystery Man? Is he the Vet Georgia has been mentioning? Or maybe The Intruder or Tommy’s Woman’s date? Stay tuned to BCN to find out. 🙂
Lupin does greet guests in real life! And then he is pretty much all over them the whole time. 🙂 This is very close to Lupin in real life, he is our little greeter!
I just wanted to let you know that I unsubscribed to the mailing list because with the daily strips i don’t need to be alerted anymore. I just didn’t want you to think you lost a fan 🙂
Your guys are just adorable. Lupin is a fantastic greeter. Good thing Elvis is in the closet or we would hear, “How do you get in!?” when the intruder arrives.
Eris would not only cozy up to guests but would also thoroughly investigate any shoes, purses, bags, etc. left on the floor (and would often go to sleep on them).
Jingle Belle Katt does not care for other cats, but when strange humans come to the house she is right there to investigate, rub against them to mark them as “hers”, and climb on them if she gets the chance. My hubby says there was only one visitor she didn’t care for, a maintenance man who was apparently a smoker.
Aha!!! I thought he looked familiar!!! The Mystery Man is the guy who is “not a sociopath” on the BCN Shelter Report–same shirt and hair style! (I re-read the Shelter Report so many times that I have practically committed the whole thing to memory.)
Matthew, just click on “Special Report: Shelter Cats” at the very top of this page and you will get the original intro to Not-A-Sociopath Guy. And you’ll get to enjoy the Special Report. You won’t regret it!
Maybe the cats can have an after party in the laundry room. The Robber Mice can help them round up leftover party food. 🙂 All the cats that live in the Big Pink house seem to be able to get to the laundry room now without any problems and I think the only non-resident that doesn’t seem to be able to get pretty much anywhere is Sophie, though since Tommy can get pretty much anywhere he could probably help Sophie get to the laundry room. 🙂
I just looked at the new fan art. Although I think both the watercolor and the knitted kitties are amazing, I have to admit that the “knitties” just blew me away. Look at the detail ! The colors are true to the characters, they have little microphones, and Elvis is even holding his in the correct (sinister/left) paw. I wish I had the talent to do either project.
We have a kitty just like Lupin, named Lucy. She is by appearances part Maine Coon, but we also think she is part socialite. She showed up at our house one day, sat outside the kitchen door as if to say “well, are you going to open it ? I am here now ” and ever since she has been subtlety looking for a better placement. She cozies up to all guests, demands to be adored, and we have to watch our friends carefully, for fear they might cat nap her. The other three ladies find her quite coarse, but Lucy does not care.
The Mystery Man is the one who adopted the black cat “because I’m not a sociopath and I would be happy to meet your needs!”
Maybe he met Tommy’s woman at the shelter and they are dating….
hah! Oh Lupin, I see you have everyone well in paw. Good job!
No shirt can have enough cat hair! How kind of Lupin to offer! And a free ankle rub, what service!
That guy is surprisingly enthused about adding cat hair to his shirt!
Oooh – is there some match making going on by The People with The Mystery Man? Is it for Tommy’s Woman or The Intruder? Will Lupin allow a move to be made on his crush? Stay tuned for the next episode…. 🙂
Lupin is the host with the most! I love how adorable he looks in his tux!
I wonder if his “Tux” is one of those t-shirt tuxes. That would explain Elvis’ initial reaction to it.
I think so, and I think Tommy has one too.
Is it me, or are the colors more vibrant in these daily comics? I love these comics, btw.
Just love the daily strips. Lupin is so happy to great everyone and share his hair. If Tommys woman is here can Tommy be far behind? And who is the “mystery” man? Is your sister always going to be known as the intruder?

Puck is a fellow who usually hides, and then about 40 minutes in he comes out to investigate. 🙂
He’s fashionably late. When everyone is already at the party, then Sir Puck must make a grand entrance. Soooo cute
Haha! Lupin is quite the charmer!
Is he that friendly in real life?
None of mine are so welcoming!
He is! Lupin is remarkably friendly in real life.
oooo, a guest tagged as “The Mystery Man”. Does the plot thicken?
Lupin can greet me anytime. lol
That is excellent! 🙂
Ooo! A mystery man who sort of looks like the Man. Either that or maybe he’s a potential romantic match for the intruder. Real life is getting as good as Our IX Lives!
I was thinking he might be the Man’s brother. Maybe even a twin.
Aahhh what a welcome
Correct – what a wonderful welcome
Ah, Lupin..he will be the life of the party.
Kitties are such gracious hosts! My cat greets students and parent the same way (add a thorough sniffing).
B-b-but Tommy’s Woman didn’t bring Tommy? He loves to Partay! And of course Lupin offers cat hair–but it’d show better on that dark teal dress…
Spot on! Although Loki would be out of the sight of visitors in a heartbeat
He’s such a gentleman! Er, cat!
As much as I like the ‘daily’ posts, I really liked it better when the ‘story’ was all together on one page.
LOVE THE BOOK!!!
Aha – I knew Lupin was a party animal!! Mee-ow!
Lupin is so friendly and cute! I love the last pane.
Yes, Lupin, just a little cat hair on the side. Trying to watch my dry cleaning bill!
I was waiting for Lupin to leave the news desk and join the party. He is the perfect greater. Does Lupin great guest in real life too? So now the question is who is the Mystery Man? Lupin does greet guests in real life! And then he is pretty much all over them the whole time. 🙂 This is very close to Lupin in real life, he is our little greeter!
Hope The Mystery Man is not The Intruder’s date or Lupin will be taking back his cat hair.
Lupin: The host with the most! 🙂
Oh, my, what a little ambassador of welcome and charm! Way to go, Lupin! Another fantastic strip, Georgia!
I just wanted to let you know that I unsubscribed to the mailing list because with the daily strips i don’t need to be alerted anymore. I just didn’t want you to think you lost a fan 🙂
Thank you, Todd! I totally understand!
“Cat hair for your shirt?” <3 you Lupin!
Your guys are just adorable. Lupin is a fantastic greeter. Good thing Elvis is in the closet or we would hear, “How do you get in!?” when the intruder arrives.
Awww….Lupin is so thoughtful, and so courteous! What a great host!
I enjoy these cats so much. Thank you
Awwwww! 💕
Most of my seven hide. They’re all rescues so are a bit skittish. But my ginger male will check everyone out to keep his ladies safe.
I love your strips. They make my heart flutter.
Mystery man? At least he’s good looking! I thought that it was the Man.
What a great host you have their, Georgia!! Is he as friendly and welcoming in real life?
Urgh, there not their. I hate when I typo.
“We meet again…”
Free ankle rub! Hah! Too cute.
The “Mystery Man”?
Lupin is the consummate host.
Love this series! It makes me feel like I’m one of the guests!
I would think Pucky, being black, would be in charge of shedding on the striped shirt.
Eris would not only cozy up to guests but would also thoroughly investigate any shoes, purses, bags, etc. left on the floor (and would often go to sleep on them).
Great way to greet the day. I am getting to know all your kitty cats personality’s. Headed for Verna for more cat discussions mine, her’s, and, yours.
Jingle Belle Katt does not care for other cats, but when strange humans come to the house she is right there to investigate, rub against them to mark them as “hers”, and climb on them if she gets the chance. Impossible not to smile with Lupin! crazy day at work so i will be referring back to this one all day today to stay positive.
I want a free ankle rub..
Lupin is just too cute for words!
Awwwwwww
lupin is so cute. what a wonderful to be greeted.
would he be ok with a quick hug.
whoops wonderful way.
Aha!!! I thought he looked familiar!!! The Mystery Man is the guy who is “not a sociopath” on the BCN Shelter Report–same shirt and hair style! (I re-read the Shelter Report so many times that I have practically committed the whole thing to memory.)
BINGO!! Lissa identified him first! Well done, Lissa!
OK….for the rest of us who didn’t get his identity (I dunno, maybe I’m just getting forgetful in my old age), could you run a brief retro somehow?
Matthew, just click on “Special Report: Shelter Cats” at the very top of this page and you will get the original intro to Not-A-Sociopath Guy. And you’ll get to enjoy the Special Report. You won’t regret it!
Bless your heart, dear. You’ve brightened up an old guy’s day 🙂
I repeat, bless you. You’ve given me a great gift by pointing me there. May all your days be filled with cats, kittens and red dots.
I would love to go to a party with a cat greeter. But I wouldn’t make it past the door.
Love!

Yes! I thought he looked familiar and I just double-checked to confirm. If I’m not mistaken, he is a RL friend of Georgia’s.
