Loving the high fives between Elvis and Puck over the dead “snake”! Also love Elvis standing there nonchalantly holding Puck’s clothes! (OK, honestly, I love the whole thing, but those moments stood out)
I just snorted coffee out my nose and scared the crap out of my two senior cats with my cackling/choking laughter at today’s strip 😉 Just brilliant! I absolutely love ‘Super Puck to the Rescue’ – “Run, Man! Save yourself!” Actually, as someone else commented already, there isn’t just one panel I like best, it’s all hysterical. Brava once again and thank you so much for sharing these with us!
Must not read at work. This was just too funny! I can see DJ or Purrl doing this. But hubby uses hand razors, not electric. That panel with Elvis staring at the ‘camera’ holding Puck’s shirt and tie, though…priceless.
Oh dear, say it’s not so! Has The Man shaved in real life? First the locks, now the beard! Let’s hope the Samson Effect doesn’t come into play, he’ll need all his strength to deal with Pucky! And I echo the others re Elvis’ expression whilst holding Puck’s clothes, just priceless.
Our cat, Shellie, has always jumped on the sink counter to walk back & forth rubbing me when I shave. Shellie loves the razor buzz sound, & knows I’m a captive audience for cat rubs. However hero Puck is wonderful, & Man will start a new fad with half a moustache.
This is one reason I use a rechargeable trimmer on my beard. It’s much easier to take evasive action when not tethered by a cord. No worries, Ryan; it’ll grow back quicker than ever. Meanwhile, you have a nice story to tell your friends!
Ya know….I’d really like to think that one of my three (Kelly, Molly, Jake) would “get down wit’ da fisticuffs [isn’t that a great word?!]”, but I’m not so sure. Although, yeah, now that I think about it, I think they would. I mean, the cat dish isn’t gonna fill itself, right?
“Viewers at home may want to avert their eyes.” This is great. Despite Lupin’s fedora and adventurous spirit, he does have his fearful side, doesn’t he? I love that Puck has had major roles in the last couple of strips. This is classic! And the last one, I’ve known cats who love to dance like that! (“Run, Man! Save yourself!”)
Years ago we had a cat, Hutch (yes, we also had Starsky), who apparently HATED my dad’s electric shaver. If Dad left the shaver out, Hutch would go up and smack it really hard with his paw. We would set the shaver in the floor because it was so entertaining to watch him attack the thing.
Never fear, the beard seems to be here to stay! I may post some photos of what he looks like without it when he does shave though–it’s QUITE the difference!
A version of this happened–but many, many years ago and with another cat! When I was 14, I was shaving a leg before a school dance when my cat Ivannah–a sweet and sturdy tuxedo kitty–ran up and began attacking the electric ladies razor. She “boxed” it, even going up on her hind legs, while I tried to calm her down and move away!
While the Man shaves, the boys all take a distrustful stance. I am certain Puck would “box” it, if given a chance! Though he is our sweet, sensitive little guy, he is also the hunter of the trio! He dispatches with all critter-and-bug threats to the apartment!
And yes, is this ever familiar. We just got a new cat toy — a dangly piece of cloth on a stick, with a feather on the non-stick end of it — and Comet is pretty much handling it like Pucky is handling the robot rattlesnake. We call it the “snakebird,” and whenever Comet is fighting it to the death (“It won’t stay dead! I keep killing it, and it keeps coming back to life!”), I have to remember how I’d react if a snakebird the size of me came into the house. And a zombie snakebird at that!
Don’t know if links are allowed on comments. But here is a short video of
Shellie’s “Man” Gordon being entertained whenever I shave. Shellie loves to rub me back & forth leaving my shirt decorated with black hair.
Georgia, love the pics you posted….you two make a dashing couple. In going thru some of your other links, I noticed a commentor stated that a strip had been done on Lupin’s illness which caused him to be deaf. Is there a way I can see that strip. I too have a ‘Lupin’ look a like, but Snowee can hear and is very possessive of me…all I have to do is sound the letter ‘s’ and here she comes….thanks
Hi Debbe! There has not been a strip on Lupin’s story (maybe someday!) but it can be found on the “About” page of this site, under “About Lupin.” (I would post the link, but I am out and about and on my phone! I will try later if it cannot be found). Lupin lost his hearing as a kitten, after he and his siblings were abandoned and he developed a terrible fever. He also lost part of his tail then. While he is a white kitty and many white kitties are deaf, our vet believed he was born hearing based on his behavior, his green eyes (the genetic deaf link is to blue), and his white-and-green-eyed hearing brothers and sisters.
My DJ does the same exact thing. She ruined the screen on my last razor but it was my fault….I held it out for her to look at and wham! One sweep of her lethal weaponry and there it went. I’ll never get a smooth shave from it again. It was pretty funny.
Georgia, thank you for the link. Glad your print sold quickly, you are not only loyal to your fans, but your fans are loyal to you as well. And my Snowee has green eyes also. She sleeps on my left side with her paw across my chest
Oh my gosh! I love this one! Of course, I say that about all of them. I don’t know how you do it! Each one is better than the previous one! We are all happy to have you and your furry family back in business. Thanks, Georgia! And I hope you had a great Independence Day!
hey, georgia,I’d love to see that in real life! And Puck, it is not a robot snake!(and by the way, did you know that I have seen some of the rarest snake’s
in the world!)
*LOVE* Elvis holding Puck’s shirt and tie!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
DYNO PUCKY !
Lol! Puck, my hero!
lmao. did he have to shave the whole thing off?
Loving the high fives between Elvis and Puck over the dead “snake”! Also love Elvis standing there nonchalantly holding Puck’s clothes! (OK, honestly, I love the whole thing, but those moments stood out)
I believe Elvis is holding Pucky’s paw up in the traditional boxing victory pose.
After I had posted my comment, that thought did occur to me 🙂 More of a “Hail! The conquering hero!” pose than a high five.
Fine. Everything. Is. Just. Fine.
Can Puck be cuter??? I just love him!!!!
This is just too funny! My cats hate the sound of electric razors, so they run away instead of saving me from the evil robosnake. GO PUCK!!!!
always the might hunter, eh Puck?
aw, the little white patch of fur on Puck’s chest, and his tubby tummy when he’s wearing his vest. Those are my favourite details. <3
Oh god, you made me laugh out loud at work. Love it!

Georgia you may find he is cuter without the stash!
Must not read at work. This was just too funny! I can see DJ or Purrl doing this. But hubby uses hand razors, not electric. That panel with Elvis staring at the ‘camera’ holding Puck’s shirt and tie, though…priceless.
Elvis holding his tail, sweet gentle Puck getting ready for FISTICUFFS, and the vanquished razor – BRILLIANT. I can’t stop laughing.
Once again. Perfect way to start the day.
Sweet little Pucky in his undershirt, ready to save his Man! Adorable!
Panel 8 – BUTTWIGGLE!
I missed that butt wiggle the first time I read the strip. Thanks for pointing it out….I mean, how absolutely cool is that?
Lupin’s poofy tail in the first panel! I have one that poofs up and it is hysterical every time. 🙂
Agreed! He has such lovely hair, he should keep it!
Oh that Puck! Not only is he adorable and wise, but now we learn just how incredibly BRAVE he is too! Yay!
Thanks for the laughs! “Run, Man! Save Yourself!” Pucky proves that Chivalry is not dead!
I love Pucky & Elvis high fiving in the last panel. I feel bad for the Man, but Pucky was just trying to save him…

Brave Elvis in Go Comics too – so many brave cats 🙂
Yep, had that happened to me before… took off an eyebrow…
I thought Lupin was the Man’s cat? Very brave of Pucky to step up and protect him.
Brave Puck!! He should be rewarded for this amazing heroism. LOL
The ears! <3
I just love this – too funny! Especially panel 5, with Puck starting to remove his tie à la Clark Kent… 🙂
It’s the eye of the tiger!!
It’s the thrill of the bite!

Aw…I love that you take all those evil things our kitties do to torment us and ascribe such good intentions to their behavior. 🙂
Brave Pucky to the rescue!! I love every detail of this toon. Enquiring minds want to know, Georgia, is the man in real life shaving off his beard???
Never fear, the beard seems to be here to stay! I may post some photos of what he looks like without it when he does shave though–it’s QUITE the difference!
Go Pucky, vanquisher of evil Robo-snakes! I laughed very loudly at this one. Death to the Robo-snake!
Fisticuffs!! Puck is so adorable!
This is now one of my favs lol I can so see this all happening lol
Thank you for yet another morning of giggles:)
Please say this didn’t happen for real! (I also have a beard, cats, and an electric beard trimmer!)
A version of this happened–but many, many years ago and with another cat! Oh dear… oh no… oh my stomach, I’m dying laughing here.
Did this really happen?
Laughing uncontrollably.

Aww!! She seems to love it! 😀
What a great little video, thanks for posting!
a little question?
this was real ?
I want to see THE MAN´S FACE JAJA
Super Puck wins again
I love that Puck is not only wearing a shirt & tie, but a vest too. How terribly middle class
This just keeps getting funnier. Panel 13 looks a lot like a move Pucky picked up from Naptime Championship Wrestling!
“Love that rascal Puck!”
Too adorable for words. Especially Puck <3

Here is the link to his about page! http://www.breakingcatnews.com/about-breaking-cat-news-2/about-lupin/ 🙂
Panel 11 for the win! 🙂
Chanur keeps trying to keep me out of the shower. 🙂
I love Naptime Championship Wrestling – need some return bouts. 🙂
I can’t be the only one who wants “Looks like it’s FISTICUFFS!” on a t-shirt or a battle standard.
My DJ does the same exact thing. She ruined the screen on my last razor but it was my fault….I held it out for her to look at and wham! One sweep of her lethal weaponry and there it went. I’ll never get a smooth shave from it again. It was pretty funny.
Georgia, This new fan is delighted to have found you!
This one had me laughing out loud! (Don’t tell Elvis or Lupin, but Puck is my favorite!) Thank you for this comic. It always makes me smile!
Georgia, thank you for the link. Glad your print sold quickly, you are not only loyal to your fans, but your fans are loyal to you as well. And my Snowee has green eyes also. She sleeps on my left side with her paw across my chest
Hahaha!!!!! So good!!!!
Oh my gosh! I love this one! Of course, I say that about all of them. I don’t know how you do it! Each one is better than the previous one! We are all happy to have you and your furry family back in business. Thanks, Georgia! And I hope you had a great Independence Day!
Thank you, Kasey! I hope you and yours did too!!
….some cat is now in the doghouse.
Oh. Oh dear. That’s precious!
hey, georgia,I’d love to see that in real life! And Puck, it is not a robot snake!(and by the way, did you know that I have seen some of the rarest snake’s
in the world!)
With his white tank top undershirt and boxing, Puck reminds me of Charles Bronson in the boxing movie ” Hard Times”.
As usual, laughing myself sick over the last panel. And again, Georgia does amazing things with The Man and his face.
I never noticed in the real pictures that he had a white spot on his throat!
Years after the announcement this installment brings back all the joy. Yes, Puck. It does feel like flight. Love gives us wings!
“Fisticuffs”….that is all
