A few weeks ago the Man chopped off his hair to donate it all to ‘Locks of Love.’ When we came home he was greeted with looks of confusion from the boys, and this is how we interpreted their concern.
There are some photos of him before and after the cut on the Facebook page, and I’ll try to add them to the “photos of the real cats and people of Breaking Cat News” page soon!
Hi Georgia, I’ve been wanting to comment for a while and just tell you how much I enjoy Breaking Cat News! My hubby and I read them to each other and laugh uproariously. Thanks so much for brightening our already bright days that much more! I love the bio pages, too.
Georgia! Good News! I’m posting every new comic on FB and telling a group of people at work. My campaign is having an effect. I went by someone’s desk to whom I don’t send the comic and he was checking it out. Word is spreading!
I love the charts the use – they are brilliant! Pucky is my favorite – like my Peekaboo – she gets up behind you when you sit on the couch and cuddles your head!

I like it better this way!
He will thank you to hear it! He does too. He enjoyed his long hair, but he was eager to get back to a shorter cut. And to give it to a good cause!
I could use that chart for all sorts of things.
And the photos of the Man before and after losing his tail have been added! They can be found here: http://www.breakingcatnews.com/about-breaking-cat-news-2/photos-of-the-real-elvis-puck-and-lupin-and-the-people-too/
Saw the pix. The Boys can sure rock a tie!
But was The Man a bad enough dude to rescue the President?
This comment will make his day, he tried to name our son “Luke Nukem!” (I wish I was joking…).
I love the chart that illustrates his balance getting worse over time.
I could really use a print out of that chart for my office.
I may have to create a print of this chart… I feel like it would be really fun to just pull out at random moments to prove random points?
Great idea, the randomer the better. 🙂

Thank you so much, Karen!! I am delighted that you and your husband enjoy them! Thank you for reading!!!
If my MIL ever bugs my husband about losing his tail, I’ll just point her to the “increasing loss of balance” chart.
I was waiting eagerly for this one after seeing the Man had donated his tail. I haven’t been disappointed 🙂
What a coincidence! On Saturday, I lopped off a long ponytail of my own for donation, though mine went to Pantene Beautiful Lengths! 🙂
Well The Man looks quite dapper with the new ‘do but even the best cut can be improved by adding a cat. 🙂
what about jumping from here to there without that counterbalance? bound to be problematic! dear dear Puck, such a dear compassionate kit.
“We’ll just share mine.” Puck is so sweet!
Kudos to The Man! I shaved my whole head to raise money for children’s cancer charity, and my two kitties reacted as if I’d totally defurred myself.
Love the comic, it is our favorite.
One of the best news reports yet! I love every frame.
To lose a tail, my heart goes out to the man, and all the kitties. So sad, and yet so brave. 🙁
‘We’ll just share mine’. Aw Puck kills me every time with his sweetness!

Haha!! Thank you!!!
That has to be the best way to get it out there, I appreciate it so much when people want to share it!!!
Condolences to The Man, but you really got some great expressions out of your intrepid reporters as they process the loss.
Puck’s compassion reaction was spot on given his sweet little personality 🙂 Even Elvis showed a bit of concern before returning to The Facts.
The Man is a good Man!
That last panel makes me so happy. It’s really sweet 🙂

Once again, the experts have it wrong. With the Man no longer having that weight in the back, he will fall *forward* not backward.
