I also want to announce here in case folks are not on FB or Twitter, the Etsy shop is back open for a bit! It’s a good chance to get a signed print, if you’ve ever wanted one!
I did! I’m sorry. We sold 70 prints in 2.5 days!! We had to shut the shop down again so we could keep up, and devote enough time and care to those orders without getting sloppy or getting overwhelmed. We will open it again, I have been thinking about opening it once a month for a few days?
He is! This is taken from real life. Puck is actually the best climber of the three boys! He can even climb arcade cabinets! (Which the Man has a couple of).
My late Malachi was a climber. He ended up with me because he had badly broken his hind left leg at the hock. One time, while he was still wearing his cast and metal brace thingummy, I found him on top of a tall speaker, on top of a hutch desk, about to try and climb on top of a tilting painting.
I have to admit I love that you named the new kitten Beatrix. She looks like a combination of my Beatrix, and my late Madison, who was polydactyl. Though her personality is more like Misha’s.
My late Christopher was missing one of his front legs, but boy could he jump! I had to keep an eye on him at times, because he would jump on something higher than the other cats would.
Tommy’s mug has an umbrella in it. Tabitha drinks from a GN water bottle. Tabitha is looking very stylish in her work out gear. Puck and his lederhosen continue to be awesome.
Looks like the internship is assured. The best way to get Elvis to do something is for Tabitha to threaten to do it first.
Nice to see Tabitha and Beatrix getting along and not fighting. And I’m not into sports either, Sophie, so I sympathize with you. [Professional wrestling doesn’t count.]
I know you’ve probably already decided where Bea’s gonna find her own People, but I sure hope she stays with the boys. Going with the Ceiling People would be good and keep her close to her brudders/uncles, but I wanna see her stay where she IS, dangit! She’s so happy and they’re all so cuuute together! …Am I getting a bit too invested in this?
Something I started wondering about on Monday – where are they getting Bea’s outfits? She came wearing her romper and winter gear, but where’s the pink tracksuit from?
I’ve always thought the cats imagine their outfits and all the news equipment too – otherwise why don’t The People wonder how their cats manage to wear collars & ties? 🙂
Very Jedi ish strip! Love Elvis patting his chest proudly!! Just love love love Beatrix going to tell Puck, so very sweet. Great to see Sir Figaro again!
I have a confession to make. I’ve been reading and loving this comic since the first installment, but it wasn’t until last week that I read the character bios. Then I had to go back and look and… all this time, Puck has only had three legs! I will never be another Sherlock Holmes with my sorry powers of observation. Sigh…
BCN is my eight-year-old grandson’s favorite reading matter. He’s not quite clear yet on when Monday and Thursday are, so he reads through lots of strips daily, hoping to see a new one. 🙂
and the woman’s reaction to all those pin prick holes in her washing? It would have been fun to have her fuming in the background while the kitteah’s are congratulating themselves. I had to pay $$$$ to replace the mosquito netting on the windows after the last “let me out and get those squirrels” climbing contest.
That’s what I thought Elvis was doing too. But yesterday Georgia tweeted that he is actually signing “some day”. I believe she said she tucked it in because they aren’t in the studio with a teleprompter for Lupin to read.
Just as in the previous strip, I love the long shot of Beatrix climbing with the adult cats – it highlights just how small she is. It’s just so cute!
Still, my favorite panel is of Puck in his lederhosen, eating his sandwich, watching with his binoculars. I also have a question about something in this panel – is that a compass off to the side, by his walking stick and satchel?
Ok, tabitha in her work out gear, sports bra and gym bag. Priceless.
Ordered my books from Amazon the other day. Guess what many folks are getting for Christmas ?
Also, Sophie languidly draping her tail over the news desk. She does not lack for confidence, does she ? Too bad there is no Kit Chase in her life-would love to see her swooning over his eye patch. On second thought, that might be cruel to Tommy.
Georgia, I want to thank you for going to all the trouble to do this. You bring a smile to my life. I’m an old man, with disabilities, whose children have all grown up and left home so it is just my wife and I and our 3 furry babies, one of whom is sleeping on my lap. Your work brings me a quiet joy and peace.
Excellent words of wisdom from Uncle Puck!
I say we have our new leader.
Aren’t they? Love that Puck!
im excited to see what happens next, and for the book
It’s like the end of Star Wars ep 7 and Rey goes to see Luke.
Oh, I love that, thank you!! Haha!
Whew, we may finally have our intern!!

Georgia,
Etsy says you’re on vacation. Did you open and close before I got there?
I did! I’m sorry. We sold 70 prints in 2.5 days!! We had to shut the shop down again so we could keep up, and devote enough time and care to those orders without getting sloppy or getting overwhelmed. We will open it again, I have been thinking about opening it once a month for a few days?
“Just ignore the finish line.”
Puck>Yoda
Oh my kitten, we have an intern. 🙀 So happy everyone has accepted her. Puck giving such good advice to ignor the finish line. I like that advice.
aw, glad to see Sir Fig was there for the breathtaking finale!
also: YAY intern!
also: YAY Zen Puck!
may need to start a collection of Puckisms(TM)
So many lessons from Puck! Maybe he can teach Bea to appreciate the symphony of rain or the simple joys of watching the bird magnet.
(I’m FIRST! Maybe . . .) What a super follow-on–I’m so glad to know Beatrix has job security!
You know you’ve made it as an official comic when you reference something that your audience will need to back a few ‘issues’ to catch. :p
Is your Puck a great climber, even with just three legs?
He is! This is taken from real life. Puck is actually the best climber of the three boys! He can even climb arcade cabinets! (Which the Man has a couple of).
That makes sense. Never arm wrestle a person with less than two functioning legs. Puck’s forelegs must have gotten very powerful through compensation.
Now, what will the new intern do on the news team?
Oh, and many thanks for the subtitles, as I don’t speak Spanish, and my Latin is too rusty to figure it out.
Interns fetch catnip, don’t they?
Hmm, possible, but these cats drink coffee. tea, and hot cocoa. Of course they could send her out for sardines …
All of ours have been climbers except one (Zulump). We call them our Tenzing Nor-cats (After the Tibetan mountain climber, Tenzing Norgay.)
My late Christopher was missing one of his front legs, but boy could he jump! I had to keep an eye on him at times, because he would jump on something higher than the other cats would.
I love it when Figaro shows up! Gato <3
And Puck’s sage advise to wrap it up? Wonderful.
Zen master Puck !! I love it !! 😺
Sophie is not into sports. Who knew? Beatrix is loved and adored by all and is going to make a great intern. Those huge fuzzy paws crack me up!
“How can I get as good as you?” She’s already up where he got to, so she is as good.
She’s a fluffy one!
Nice to see Tabitha and Beatrix getting along and not fighting. And I’m not into sports either, Sophie, so I sympathize with you. [Professional wrestling doesn’t count.]
If Beatrix becomes the intern, she can ” Scout” out BCN stories. 😻
Huh, I always assumed Lupin was the best climber with the pictures of him on that dragon on the wall or being in cabinets and such.
He climbs the most often/most regularly, but Puck climbs the highest/furthest/into the craziest places. 🙂
Elvis climbs occasionally, when the whim takes him.
Oh my gosh. Their little outfits and expressions. I am so addicted to BCN.
I know you’ve probably already decided where Bea’s gonna find her own People, but I sure hope she stays with the boys. Going with the Ceiling People would be good and keep her close to her brudders/uncles, but I wanna see her stay where she IS, dangit! Something I started wondering about on Monday – where are they getting Bea’s outfits? She came wearing her romper and winter gear, but where’s the pink tracksuit from?
There’s a reason the robber mice have needles! 😀
I’m pretty sure it is sartorial magic, but don’t quote me on that.
I’ve always thought the cats imagine their outfits and all the news equipment too – otherwise why don’t The People wonder how their cats manage to wear collars & ties? 🙂
Wunderkind Bea, looking up to Sensei Puck ! Another wonderful strip, Georgia…and the reassurance of “If you don’t hire her, we will.” YAY !!
Ah! Tabitha’s workout bag!!
So wonderful. You just keep me hooked and I feel I really know and love each of the furry ones. Great work.
Wow, she can name her -pay- kitty treat check!!!
Aw, Puck is so wise! And now we have our Intern, yay!
I love how Sophie always calls Tommy “Thomas.” I think the first frame is my favorite this time!
I love Beatrix’s paws!
Love little Bea and her h err to worship of our PUCK..
I love that in panel 5, we are treated to a rare Elvis smile! He looks like a proud papa! And Bea’s feets! Like big fluffy mittens!
Puck in the final panel! Ha! XD
Tabitha’s midriff … SQUEEEEEEE!!!
“Ella es tan buenA como el legendario Puck.”
Sorry to be the spanish police again
Love, love, love the exercise crop top on Tabitha! Very nice touch! And just love that everyone thinks Bea is adorable!
Very Jedi ish strip! Love Elvis patting his chest proudly!! Just love love love Beatrix going to tell Puck, so very sweet. Great to see Sir Figaro again!
She’s obviously learned some wisdom already. She doesn’t simply go tell Puck “I won!” Instead she asks him “How can I get as good as you?”
I am so happy to hear that! Thank you, Dorothy!!
A very good intern, BCN will have,
Very wise Puck is, yesss…
Strong in the fur, Beatrix is…
Another beautiful comic, I commend you…
Aww another wonderful strip! I adore Beatrix!
That’s good advice, Puck.
Seems Beatrix has really taken a shine to Puck. She looks to him for advice and as her role model. Love that she may be the new intern.
My entire week is made when I get my double dose of BCN!!!
and the woman’s reaction to all those pin prick holes in her washing? It would have been fun to have her fuming in the background while the kitteah’s are congratulating themselves. I had to pay $$$$ to replace the mosquito netting on the windows after the last “let me out and get those squirrels” climbing contest.
Enjoy your sarnie, mighty hunter
I need Pick in lederhosen as he wallpaper on my phone. NEED!
“Just ignore the finish line” — you’ve given me my new mantra for the last 10 weeks of school. Both for me and my students. <3
That is great, thank you!!
Bought my print today..They boys reading..My favorite one 🙂
Thank you, Mary!!
Look at Elvis with his chest puffed out, buffing his nails with pride on his shirt… Ah, what a fake grump- he’s nuttin’ but a big soft marshmallow!
That’s what I thought Elvis was doing too. But yesterday Georgia tweeted that he is actually signing “some day”. I believe she said she tucked it in because they aren’t in the studio with a teleprompter for Lupin to read.

It is! 😀
So cute! Bea has such huge, fluffy cute paws! And I love Puck .. and ALL of the kitties!
It would be awesome to have a compilation of the boys’ advice on a print or a book.
Where did Puck get his BLT sandwich?
He found prey that had not taken flight.
Ok, tabitha in her work out gear, sports bra and gym bag. Priceless.
Ordered my books from Amazon the other day. Guess what many folks are getting for Christmas ?
Thank you, Martha!!
So glad you mention ordering from amazon — I didn’t realize that was available yet! Just got my first set ordered!
Also, Sophie languidly draping her tail over the news desk. She does not lack for confidence, does she ? Too bad there is no Kit Chase in her life-would love to see her swooning over his eye patch. On second thought, that might be cruel to Tommy.
Elvis in panel 9: the look is “You keep your paws off my daughter!”
While all of the characters hold their own, I think that Beatrix is the best new character you have added.
Awww, “Just ignore the finish line”. Best advise I’ve heard in a long time!
<3

You are so very welcome, Henry. Thank you so much for reading! Say hello to your wife and the furry babies! 🙂
“Just ignore the finish line”–excellent advice! 😉 That’s the way life is too. 🙂
Much better than the usual sports interviews: “I just gave it a hundred and ten percent”.
