I know mine would love spider treats, though not as much as june bug treats. Except I have no doubt I would find spider treats lurking in my bed. Sometimes, my adored Fuzzballs can be ‘teh ebil’.
No mention of how the tear came about .. all the cats of course, know nothing about that! Reminds me of a cat Stray Gray who would punch out any screen to gain access to the outdoors! He could only be kept inside in the winter; drove me crazy as I am a firm believer of no cats outside at night. Poor Poor Elvis what a way to start Monday. Great job as always.
I would have thought that letting the bugs in was a feature, not a bug.
For a fact, there is joy and munchies whenever moths, crickets and katydids invade our territory. Defense of the homeland and a crunchy snack never went so well together.
Poor Angry Fussy Paws!! Lupin frustrates him yet again. Love Puck transcribing holding his finger up, so perfect. You are so talented, I’m sure you’ll be hearing from Friskies about your jingle any second and you can do home repairs!
I was trying to read Puck’s notes (lemon?!), and was about to say something about his cute infuser, when I noticed the thimble-mug and position changes, and realized he has an intern! Squee!
I missed the little mug until you pointed it out, thanks Lisa. That buzzy wind up mouse is so very precious to Puck, he hasn’t been without it for several strips lately. Georgia, does Puck sleep with it? Does it have a set of pajamas too??
I just went back and saw the little cup and the mouse movement..thanks Lisa..Sort of a “Calvin and Hobbes” nod! Love it…Georgia I love all your Easter eggs πππ
Oh, and thanks for solving a puzzle for me! I’d always wondered why Lupin dictated notes to himself in audio form! Of *course* sweet, obliging Puck transcribes them for him. I should have known.
I know that Puck was holding up one finger in a “Just a moment” pose… but was I the only one who thought he was holding up a *different* finger for a moment?
about treats–can cats have cream cheese??
i only give her a small bit off my finger. emma jean is crazy for it. she stands on her hind legs pawing the kitchen cabinet.
about those sp treats ( i can’t even spell that word )
would they come with gloves so we don’t have to touch them
eew yuck times a 1000.00!
Most cats are lactose intolerant. As long as your cat is not vomiting and/or has runny poo I don’t see the harm in doing what you are doing, giving her an occasional taste.
I like how you answered the question about how Lupin gets his notes to self off his recorder and worked it in as another way Lupin stands in the way of Elvis’ serious news reporting.
Panel 9. Puck’s “wait” gesture, Elvis’s body language. Hysterical. Panel 13. Elvis’s position and expression are just priceless! p.s. I love the pink paw pads on display in this one.
Hahahaha! Is Elvis pulling the tape off the screen? Ann is Buzzy mouse wearing a tiny white shirt? Hee hee! I adore these cartoons! The art is spectacular and the humor is perfect. .I love the way you have developed each of their personalities They are 3 very distinct characters and yet they are family. Much like multiple cat homes everywhere. The reason all the readers of this strip can identify is most of us have some of these same experiences with our own family of cats!
I fixed the holes in my screens earlier this summer with duct tape also! Keep the cats in and the lizards out. Oh and I love the little tail flicks when one of the boys is irritated!
Lori C. π thank you. she gets a small amount on my fingertip. i will make sure she no longer gets the second helping she begs for.
what can’t hear you I’m too busy singingβ¦
Let us note that your comic has now got enough history that you can reference yourself and you have fans who will get it! I feel like that’s a milestone that deserves congratulations. π
I am “one of those”. I reread the cartoons until the next new one comes out. So glad I did because I missed a couple of really cute details. Elvis’ notebook says, “Talk about bug,” and the top Post it note on Puck”s board says, “Get more Post It notes!” I love it.

If I had a cat they would enjoy “yum yum kitty cat spider treats”!
I know mine would love spider treats, though not as much as june bug treats. Except I have no doubt I would find spider treats lurking in my bed. Sometimes, my adored Fuzzballs can be ‘teh ebil’.
Elvis in the penultimate panel is precious!
Looks like that patch might not last very long! : )
That’s why we don’t patch screens with tape. Too easy for inquiring paws to peel off. We always have used fishing line to stitch it back up.
I don’t think we’ve Elvis sit like a cat before this report. He looks so cute!
I know! He looks so cuddly!
Looks more like a dejected child than a cat to me.
He looks like a sweet little poppet – sorry Elvis – but you do π
Love how Elvis is pulling off the screen repair. What a rascal he is!
Caught red pawed Elvis!
No mention of how the tear came about .. all the cats of course, know nothing about that! Reminds me of a cat Stray Gray who would punch out any screen to gain access to the outdoors! “Talk about the BUGS” and “Buy more sticky notes” are golden. π
So funny!
Love panel 12! The “mouse” and note to “get more sticky notes”.
Yes, my boys love the bug who accidently comes in.
Alright…gotta figure out what Puck’s sticky notes say.
Top to bottom, clockwise…
“leaves!”
“Spider [?]”
“July Bug”
“Sardine βͺ notes β«” ?? sorta guessing here
“Yes’m?” (complete guess here!)
I believe we can solve this mystery, commenters!
I think it’s “sunshine = one note” “rain = symphony”. Classic!
Nailed it! π
Of course!!! Brilliant! Well, what else did we expect from Puck?
I think the lower left sticky note says “yarn?” not “yes’m”. But I could be wrong.
The center one reads “Buy new sticky notes”. Elvis is definitely in an Angry Fussy Paws mood by the end!
Spider thumbtacks
Yarn
Not sure about the Sardine one – looks like “Sardine rain” with Puck lying on his back awaiting the downpour, maybe?
Ooh! I just figured out another one. “Spider-thumbtack”
Callback to the strip where they think there is a bug on the wall but it is a thumbtack. I think Puck eats it!
The details are brilliant!
i think yes’m is yarn!
oh elvis, you’ll have your day!
Siamese have their ways of expressing anger…
I would have thought that letting the bugs in was a feature, not a bug.
For a fact, there is joy and munchies whenever moths, crickets and katydids invade our territory. Defense of the homeland and a crunchy snack never went so well together.
I think Elvis feels it’s a feature, too. See what he’s doing in the last panel. π
Now I’ll have that song stuck in my head all day!! Yum yum kitty cat spider treats!!
Poor Angry Fussy Paws!! Lupin frustrates him yet again. Love Puck transcribing holding his finger up, so perfect. You are so talented, I’m sure you’ll be hearing from Friskies about your jingle any second and you can do home repairs!
Uh oh… looks like Elvis was going to go on another adventure before distraction hit!
He does occasionally snooze next to it, (Lupin too) as for its own pjs, we will have to see! π
I just went back and saw the little cup and the mouse movement..thanks Lisa..Sort of a “Calvin and Hobbes” nod! Love it…Georgia I love all your Easter eggs πππ
Yep! That little cup slays me!
Spider thumbtack
Yarn
And heres wishing Puck happy Black Cat Appreciation Day
Love Puck holding up the little “wait just a minute” finger!
Aw, Puck is just such a helpful little guy! I hope Lupin appreciates him (I already know Elvis doesn’t!)
AAAaaahhhh! I was going to start listing off all my favorite details and then my head exploded.
Also, I love that the deaf kitty makes up jingles. Little Beethoven kitty!
Oh, and thanks for solving a puzzle for me! I’d always wondered why Lupin dictated notes to himself in audio form! Of *course* sweet, obliging Puck transcribes them for him. I should have known.
Lovely start to a day! Thankyou sooooo much Georgia X
I know that Puck was holding up one finger in a “Just a moment” pose… but was I the only one who thought he was holding up a *different* finger for a moment?
Hahahahaha!!! You have NO idea how many times I had to redraw that paw! It kept coming out like that!! Lol
Obviously, the paw pad is visible, so Puck is not being rude. (Glad you included that detail — otherwise I too would have thought the worst).
And Puck makes Elvis angry AGAIN π
We like ‘Moth Treats’ around our house! Don’t last long and mighty tasty according to our BCN cast! LOL
Angry Elvis is adorable! Love it!
elvis in the second to last panel is just too adorable for words. so disgruntled!
Buzzy mice make the best companions!
And Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day to Puck.

Poor Elvis. He needs more focused news minions. Also, I totally heard the tune when I read that jingle. I think they’d sell.
Georgia, I would love a stuffed Elvis as he is in the next to last panel! too adorable for words!
Me too!!!
He could be programmed for his tail and face to get puffy, then extra puffy, and catstremely puffy, and his eyes, eyebrows, and ears could move too.
I think I’ve just had an Elvis day.
Daw, angry Elvis…
Is it just me or does Puck’s wind up mouse have his own tiny coffee mug!!! This strip just gets better every week π
He does!!! I hadn’t noticed that. I just love it π
Panel 9. Puck’s “wait” gesture, Elvis’s body language. Hysterical. Panel 13. Elvis’s position and expression are just priceless! p.s. I love the pink paw pads on display in this one.

Thank you, Serena!! It feels really good, I hope to work a lot of details from past strips into future strips and keep their little world growing!
This entire thing is gold, but Lupin’s jingle in the last panel cracked me up the most.
I am “one of those”. I reread the cartoons until the next new one comes out. So glad I did because I missed a couple of really cute details. Elvis’ notebook says, “Talk about bug,” and the top Post it note on Puck”s board says, “Get more Post It notes!” I love it.
