Some readers have had a tough time getting this strip to load, and something seems off with the text for some readers still. Bah–I apologize. I’ve been trying to tinker with it for a while now, but it’s very late. WordPress had an update during the hiatus, and I don’t know if it has thrown the resolution a little. If you’re having trouble viewing this, it’s always on GoComics, and come Monday it will be updated there! http://www.gocomics.com/breaking-cat-news We will add a “Comic” button to the menu bar to direct folks there.
I did have the problem you mentioned but, after I got Burt’s technical message, I closed the page and then reloaded it. And, voilà , high resolution! So whatever tweaking you (or Burt 😉) did appears to have helped – at least for those using mobile Safari, Firefox, or Dolphin as their browsers.
OH WOW! I totally missed this one! 😀 I feel like the colouring and inking is much more brilliant with the new format, Georgia. I love Elvis’ expression in panel 6–it IS the most trusted news source. 🙂
You’re going live! HOORAY! We have been so patiently waiting for this day!
It’s like an early birthday present (next week) for me.
I wish you the best and that BCN continues to grow and become the next hit.
AWESOME!!!! No, I didn’t have any issues with loading or other problems–came right up as fast as Elvis’ toaster puffery! The drone is a nice touch! So GREAT to have it back ‘LIVE:!!!
My blind cat Reilly hates my little 4 blade copter. Actually it’s more like he freaks out…. because I’m pretty sure he’s never experienced one before. He’s a rescue got him at 3 years so we have no idea of the former life. Don’t get me wrong, he can do anything a sighted cat can do, but the sound to him is worse than the vacuum cleaner.
YAY!!!!! I can’t wait till Monday! I’m going to look at all the Connecticut papers to see if BCN is in any of them!!!! Today’s strip is great! I wonder how long it takes Elvis to un-poof? Also, Lupin jumping out of the laundry is spectacular!
My technical difficulties have been more with a kitten who shoves the mouse and moves the screen so that I can’t read it. . . . but hopefully I will be able to after I lure her off with breakfast!
No problem loading and seeing the strip on my PC, Georgia. I love the drone cam; glad to see that BCN is keeping their technology up-to-date! I put in a request to have your comic strip added to the Washington Post (to which I recently subscribed), and it is under review. I’ll keep you informed, either here, on Facebook, or on Twitter.
Wonderful to see this, and to have you back! We’ve missed you and BCN so very much (and kept checking GoComics for a fix). Over the moon anticipating regular new BCN again to brighten our days. BTW, the strip and lettering were crystal-clear when we accessed them this morning. Thank you and welcome back!
Absolutely fantastic news! Congratulations! The Greater World doesn’t know what’s in store for them and I look forward to growing success for Breaking Cat News!
Congratulations to the cast and crew and specifically Georgia. May the wind always be at your back.
Congrats on being in the papers. Also I wanted to tell you that I bought a copy of the book and let one of my co-workers borrow the book since her pre-teen daughter loves cats. When I found out how much the daughter was enjoying it, I let her keep it and now its her favorite book.
The text was a little wonky when I first read it around 1:30 AM EDT, but it looks fine now. Your tinkering must have worked. So cool to see confirmation that Camera One is a drone;)
Georgia, love the new strip! The colors are so bright and lovely. The boys look great and Burt is so handsome! I can’t wait for all the new strips to follow. Please keep up the good work. I wasn’t expecting these until Monday. It was a great surprise. Thanks!
I am so happy to see The BCN News on my desk again and look forward to the BCN boys and their adventures in and out of the newsroom. I certainly hope that they can travel to the bookstore or do more remote broadcasts with Burt and Beatrice and Tommy during the week.
I am of course waiting to hear of the new adventures the ceiling cats, the ceiling woman, the bookstore woman and her dog,
the Quinn Animal Shelter and the shelter woman, Baba Mouse and the Robber Mice and the adventures in the basement laundry room and whether the laundry chute is used everyday for the commute to the basement. I look forward to seeing the next installment of “Our Nine Lives” telenovella as well.
Congratulations on your entry into newspapers. You so deserve it. And thanks for the new two specials for those of us who have missed you these last months. At least you were kind enough to be at GC each day for us. Wishing you all the best!
Burt at the window! drone cameras! new plant! attack by toast! monster from the laundry! and PRINT THE MOST TRUSTED NEWS SOURCE!
it’s almost too much…I may need to lie down for a bit.
congrats again for getting in papers, Georgia and boys.
P.S.: the strip loaded fine for me on first try. chrome browser, Windows 10
The strip loaded fine for me (Sat. morning). And what a delight to have a NEW episode … a delightful new episode. I’m still adjusting to the new style … But I love Breaking Cat News so much. By the way — I LOVE the Twitter feed image … I crack up every time I read “stop telling birds my business!”
You have made my day!! I’ve missed BCN so much! If you can’t tell, I’m really looking forward to seeing my favorite strip every day. Congrats on this accomplishment! p.s. I LOVE the two panels on local print…the most trusted news source.
There is not yet, alas, I’m told because papers can be added or dropped and it’s a changing thing. I am hoping that readers will post when they do find it in their papers! And as newspapers have contacted me for interviews I have found out and shared those as they’ve gone live. I know the comic will be in newspapers in Oregon, Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, and Connecticut. The count is around 100 papers right now!
OH yay! In Texas! I will tell my parents and my brother to be sure they check out the paper for your comic! 😀 Maybe they can send me some clippings.
Well, it loaded purrfectly for me, and I’m glad to see Camera One get a marquee mention. Of course we also get the much-adored Poofy Elvis when the toaster goes off.
I’ve just started following this strip in the last few weeks, and I’m so glad you’ve finally updated!
My favorite strip is the one making fun, of clickbait, with Beatrix’s introduction, the Supreme Court ruling, and the first Christmas special as close runners-up.
I have two cats of my own, but I doubt they’re running their own news show. They spend most of the time sleeping.
What a wonderful way to introduce the comic to new readers – congratulations, Georgia! We’re hoping it will turn up in the Montreal Gazette, but if not I’m so pleased to be able to keep seeing it here and at GoComics!
Oh, Georgia, I am SO GLAD BCN IS BACK. We lost one of our cats last weekend (cancer), and the house has been feeling way too big. Having the boys and the crew back is just what I needed. And this strip doesn’t disappoint. It is hilarious and beautiful (and for me, hi-res)!
Georgia:Welcome back! Many congrats on the paper deal! Can’t wait for new reports now that the station is back in the air! Would MUCH rather get the news from BCN team than the stuff from the rest of the world. BCN, the news you can trust! PS:Sasha,so sorry for your loss. We lost our Mr. Blue the same way recently. May the Great Cat send you another loving companion soon.
Thank you!! I worked pretty hard on this–this font is attempt 8 or 9, ha! Made from my own handwriting, but so many letters to tweak to get just right!
1. Camera one is a drone!!!…
2. Origin of Fluffapaurus Rex … from fluffy laundry!!! who could have guessed that?
3. Cameras were rolling all the time. So, do we get to see any bloopers, like on Sunday strips?
4. I live in a different Continent, so, I wont be seeing the comics on newspapers here. Congrats and keep up the good work.
Which of your kitties is my favourite? All three!! And each for different reasons fitting with their personalities.
Georgia, I’ve followed your the lives of your actual real Boys but I’m still curious how much their personalities fit with their cartoon characters. Are they that distinct from each other? With previous cats in my life, the more different they were from each other, the less they got along.
Am I mistaken or is the new plant an African Violet? My beloved Sabrina (who crossed the Rainbow Bridge almost 11 years ago) was absolutely determined to mess with my Mom’s head when it came to her African Violets. She would wait until the flowers opened fully, then eat all the petals of the flower. She never touched a single leaf and she left the little yellow center of the flower (just so you knew there had been one there), she just ate the petals and only from the African Violets (my mom had several). It became a source of great entertainment for my Dad and I.

Yes, I agree@Jim Reider – I thought the drone was an excellent touch–no we know how they get all those bird’s eye view shots!
My blind cat Reilly hates my little 4 blade copter. Actually it’s more like he freaks out…. because I’m pretty sure he’s never experienced one before. Yay! Normal life is back!
So nice to see the new comic (and Elvis being dignified for for his intro). Welcome back!!
Absolutely fantastic news! Congratulations! The Greater World doesn’t know what’s in store for them and I look forward to growing success for Breaking Cat News!
Congratulations to the cast and crew and specifically Georgia. May the wind always be at your back.
This strip is terrific!!! I love it! Hooray for Burt and Georgia!!! Cannot wait to see the new strips.
So excited to see the start of the new strips in the new format!
It’s perfect! Especially puffy Elvis in the last frame!! HaHaHa!!
Hey! Welcome back! Yes, I had a bit of trouble loading this one, but my phone cooperated eventually. Also, poofy kitties are the best kitties. ^_^
We finally get to see Camera One!!!!!
Congrats on being in the papers. Also I wanted to tell you that I bought a copy of the book and let one of my co-workers borrow the book since her pre-teen daughter loves cats. When I found out how much the daughter was enjoying it, I let her keep it and now its her favorite book.
It’s working for me, at least. And yay! You’re finally going to be in the newspapers, like you deserve!
The text was a little wonky when I first read it around 1:30 AM EDT, but it looks fine now. Your tinkering must have worked. So cool to see confirmation that Camera One is a drone;)
Welcome back!
Welcome back, boys (and Georgia, of course)!!! You’ve been missed. I’m so glad to have my most reliable news source back in operation!
Georgia, love the new strip! The colors are so bright and lovely. The boys look great and Burt is so handsome! I can’t wait for all the new strips to follow. Please keep up the good work. I wasn’t expecting these until Monday. It was a great surprise. Thanks!
Looking forward to seeing Bert’s edited footage on Monday!
Love, love, love it! And congratulations, Georgia! So excited for you!
Looks fine now to me. Wasn’t readable the first time i looked, but now seems to be all right.
And as usual, seeing puffy Elvis is priceless.)
Hello and good Morning Ms. Dunn,
I am so happy to see The BCN News on my desk again and look forward to the BCN boys and their adventures in and out of the newsroom. I certainly hope that they can travel to the bookstore or do more remote broadcasts with Burt and Beatrice and Tommy during the week.

You’re back! Excelsior!
Saw it on gocomics. Congrats on being in the funny papers now! 😀
“It came from the laundry” would make a GREAT shirt design! It also brought back memories: my past cat Missy used to do that to me.
Burt at the window! drone cameras! new plant! attack by toast! monster from the laundry! and PRINT THE MOST TRUSTED NEWS SOURCE!
it’s almost too much…I may need to lie down for a bit.
congrats again for getting in papers, Georgia and boys.

This is so exciting! Congratulations on getting into print newspapers! That’s wonderful for you!
Congratulations, Georgia! The strip looks great! Very clear and bright!

This is fantastic. Puck is a black cat and not gray.
I am so happy you are back. I missed you and everyone.
Welcome back.
You have made my day!! I’ve missed BCN so much! If you can’t tell, I’m really looking forward to seeing my favorite strip every day. Congrats on this accomplishment! p.s. I LOVE the two panels on local print…the most trusted news source.
Georgia, is there a list of the newspapers that will be calling the strip somewhere?
Great to see new updates from the boys!
Curse you, autocorrect…

Well, it loaded purrfectly for me, and I’m glad to see Camera One get a marquee mention. Of course we also get the much-adored Poofy Elvis when the toaster goes off.
Thank you for the ‘extra’, Georgia!!
thank you. psychic telekinetic kittens!!!
Elvis’s face in the last panel is how I look at work when stressed! And, need to see the newborn psychic telekinetic kittens!
I’ve just started following this strip in the last few weeks, and I’m so glad you’ve finally updated!

I’m so sorry, Sasha! I’m glad the strip could come back now to bring some cheer!
Laundrasaurus Rex!!!! And the last panel! I knew it!
LOVE your word for the newest -saurus discovery!
I went back one issue, then forward to today…it then came in loud and clear, and won-der-ful!!!
Georgia:Welcome back! Many congrats on the paper deal! Can’t wait for new reports now that the station is back in the air! By any chance are you wearing the BCN t shirt in the laundry panel?
I had no problem loading the comic on my laptop. More issues this morning with my iPhone. So happy that March is here!!
reading this on my kindle. loaded fine.
you and bcn is back!! blow the horns toss the confetti and dance on. wahoo!!!!
Love that sweet little Camera One drone!
I had the resolution problem, but I stuck it through ’cause it was worth it. WOOHOO for you!
Also, I absolutely loved Burt’s technical note.
As much as I liked the hand lettering, I must admit this font looks pretty good.
Thank you!! I worked pretty hard on this–this font is attempt 8 or 9, ha! Made from my own handwriting, but so many letters to tweak to get just right!
I missed it so much. Thank you Georgia.
‘Button’ is a GREAT sound effect!
Congratulations on achieving a long-sought life goal!
Thank you for your wonderful work.
